Simple
Safety is the key factor in all our designs. They correspond
Do-it-yourself kits from Jungle Gym make it very easy to
to the safety guidelines for domestic and family use
put together your own play set. They all come with clear
(EN 71-1, -2, -3, -8 & -9). The play sets contain many
step-by-step instructions and an extended set with all of
safety components such as slip-resistant rungs, handgrips,
the assembly materials you need: hardware, connection
bolt protection caps, ground anchors and a Bumper
brackets and drill bits.
Pad™. With these, you can create an exceptionally safe
play area for your child.

Fun
With Jungle Gym, you put together a play set that brings outdoor fun for many
years. All our play sets are expandable and can be customized with the addition
of a wide variety of modules and accessories. There are towers for every taste,
available area and budget. You can always decide to expand later so the play

Timber
The durability of your play set depends for
a great deal on the timber you choose. We
recommend pinewood, either naturally
resistant to wood-rot and insect damage or
pressure treated.
Timber measurements
The quantity of the timber depends on the
available widths and lengths
at your retailer.
Due to the content of the hardware package
you have the possibility to use timber
dimensions to suit your wishes/requirements
for building a sturdy climbing frame. To build
a safe play set the measurements should be
within the margins given.
Quality of timber
Make sure to check your timber for the absence
of large knots. We also recommend buying
on four sides sanded and planed beams and
boards.

Safety

Hy-land playgrounds are carefully
engineered to ensure optimum
safety. All are type-approved by
TÜV Rheinland, Germany according
to European Standard EN 1176
for use on public playgrounds. To
administer the required periodical
inspection and maintenance
services, a logbook template is
provided.
All play equipment must be installed
over a shock-absorbing playground
area surface according to European
Standard EN 1177.
For extra safe and secure anchoring
of your entire Hy-land to a nonpaved construction site, additional
Anchor Sets are available. These are
specially designed to stabilise your
Hy-land playground easily.
Each Project comes with a Hy-Slide™.
Its mounting hardware secures this
heavy-duty slide to both the 1,50 m
high platform and the construction
site. The use of UV-resistant HDPE
structural foam enables the Hy-Slide™
to withstand the rigorous use on
commercial playgrounds.
