The store’s marble counter top was custom-designed. The 1400 sf interior atmosphere blends vibrant greens and tans with real oak table tops. Its interior was demolished to accommodate a new updated design and comply with code requirements. The remodeled dining area reflects an intimate mood with the use of rich, warm woods throughout. Interior improvements included updating the restaurant layout and a complete renovation of the bar. We also redesigned the CPK “ASAP” prototype concept and implemented it in the 4,150 sf San Francisco store in the Civic Center Historic District, as well as the 3,052 sf “ASAP” restaurant in Pleasanton and Concord, CA. The excitement of the winning game was amplified in the new open-plan luxury sports bar. Box Suites adjoin the sports bar where patrons can enjoy dining and a multitude of amenities. AD has used and expanded upon IHOP’s traditional prototype identity, depending on situational requirements. Finishes, awnings, roof types, materials, and other techniques were used to enhance color and shadow and align with nearby and adjacent buildings. AD built numerous prototypes that allowed for exterior changes without affecting the interior floor plans. The 5,086 sf facility seats 116 and also has a large take-out component. Pastries and breads are made onsite so the kitchen is quite extensive. Projects ranged from renovation/expansion to ground-up design. Including drivethrus and outdoor patio dining areas when possible, enhanced the overall experience. AD managed the fees/ permit process and agency coordination to get the projects built on schedule and within budget while meeting the challenging limitations from city and state. The food trucks are very sophisticated machines that both cook and display the food to customers that can purchase meals or food to go. OFFICES The operation of “Feeding” the machines lives through the commissary where food is prepared and readied for stocking of the food trucks early in the morning when the trucks hit the road. The commissary is effectively a large kitchen that is partially cooled to allow preparation of chicken and pork in a health safe environment. The trucks, being the lifeline of the business, come and go from the commissary where food preparation begins and cleaning ends the day.
