General Features
• The lowest operating costs of any emergency lighting system.
• Emergency circuits operate at 24 VDC and can be installed using Class 2 wiring.
• Available with power range from 100 to 1,000 watts per panel for 90 minutes minimum.
• Self- test diagnostics is standard. Optional Building Management Interface allows diagnostic data to be displayed on a
building management system.
• CBS panels supply both emergency and normally-on power for night or supplementary lighting.
• Replacement batteries can be purchased locally through commercial distributors and installed by in- house personnel.

• One CBS can replace one hundred batteries used in unit equipment, reducing
maintenance costs by 95%.
Series CES
System Powered from a Generator & Utility Service
• Emergency lighting activates immediately upon loss of building utility power, to supply emergency lighting during the 10
second delay for generator startup.
• When the generator is running, LED fixtures operate at full power in standby mode and emergency batteries remain on
full charge.
• If the generator fails, lighting switches to emergency batteries and operates throughout the building for a minimum of
90 minutes.
• Generators can be downsized by the amount of the total emergency lighting load.
• No automatic load control relays for emergency fixtures are required.

• 50,000 hr LED lamp life requires no service or replacement during a typical building lifetime.
• Compact, low profile metal housings with high strength polycarbonate or acrylic lenses.
• Special optics optimized for path of egress illumination.
• IES photometric data is available for all fixtures based on absolute photometry in actual emergency operation.
• Spacing over 55ft from heights over 30 ft. can be achieved with standard fixtures producing 1 Fc average on the pathway.
• Dual mode light engine allows both emergency and normally-on operation.
• High lumen output models deliver 1 Fc on the pathway from over 50 ft mounting height.
