During the conference, there will be a special exhibit and Imax film about the Maya. The exhibit has lots of neat language displays. Consider pairing a visit to the Science Museum with ice skating at Rice Park. The Science Museum's 70,000 square feet of exhibition space includes a 10,000-squarefoot temporary exhibit gallery and five permanent galleries covering the topics of paleontology, physical science and technology, the human body, peoples and cultures of the Mississippi River, and the museum's collections.
