2 — TRIB TOTAL MEDIA
T
oday we look beyond
the troubles often
reported by Trib Total
Media. Instead, we look to
Western Pennsylvania and
focus on the achievements
of our youth. The dedication
of these students to
academics,
community
service and
extracurricular activities is
remarkable.
Within
these pages
are some of
Ralph Martin the best, the
brightest
and the most giving group
of individuals Western
Pennsylvania has to offer.
This year, parents, school
administrators and friends
nominated 277 students
representing 20 schools. We
are proud to have the opportunity to give them the
recognition they deserve.
We have the utmost confidence that these students
will go on to do amazing
things and hold rewarding
and impressive careers.
I would also like to
congratulate the many
parents, teachers, coaches
and mentors who have
helped guide these young
adults and contributed to
their successes. They are
often unrecognized for the
many hours of loving assistance they have invested
and we appreciate them
encouraging the development of our youth.
Finally, I would like to
extend my thanks to you,
the reader. Without you,
none of this would be
possible. I ask if you know
any of the students highlighted in this section, that
you please take a moment to
congratulate them for
setting an example and
working hard to ensure our
future.
We are proud to have the
privilege of continuing the
Outstanding Young Citizen
program year after year,
and it is because of the
extraordinary students that
we are able to do so.
