Gymnasium Centre Roll Divider Curtain
Company
history
COMPANY HISTORY
Seaway Plastics Ltd. was established in 1964 to manufacture
Ensolite® type wrestling mats that were, in their formative
years, very much in demand. Seaway Plastics continues to be
the sole manufacturer of this specialized product in Canada.
In 1966 Seaway, using Qued as the brand name, became one
of the pioneers in folding and landing mats and have
replaced the old, heavy, tufted mats that were the norm at
that time with new lightweight mats.
In 1969 gymnasium divider curtains were introduced for the
Quebec market, soon followed with an association of Hussey
Seating of North Berwick, Maine, that saw Qued curtains
supplied for both the Canadian and U.S. markets. This
association lasted until 1983, when Hussey withdrew its
divider curtain and basketball backstop business to
concentrate solely on its bleachers. Qued expanded its
product line at this time to include all facets of manufacturing
divider curtains, introducing innovative ideas such as divided
drive shafts that are now the preferred system.
In 1974 Qued introduced its netting line which broke new
ground by providing large protective nets that were polymer
coated nylon and polyester. Designed to last 10 years in the
field, Qued nets last far longer than any other net supplied
that do not have a UV coating.
Today Qued nets are used in a multitude of applications in
sport and industry, and come in a variety of colours and sizes
from 1/2 inch to 5 inch mesh with almost unlimited sizes as
required in many of the sport domes currently in use.
More recently Qued has concentrated on improving and
extending its curtain line and hardware, incorporating a few
patents with more innovations under test.
We, at Qued, believe that speed should be a critical criterion
when choosing a curtain design. In order to combat the
multitude of new curtain manufacturers that have sprung up
supplying antiquated designs that are extremely slow to
operate, Qued now provides high speed lifting divider
curtains.
.The new "Qued Sound Guard 32" introduced in this
catalogue marks a new milestone in the development of
acoustic divider curtains and is just another innovation that
makes Qued a leader in curtain design and execution.
An innovative company that has staying power is a company
you can put your trust into. A company whose warranty has
meaning is a company you can consult with confidence.

Choosing
a divider curtain
FEATURES TO LOOK FOR:
Two Types:
1) Activity Divider – used
to divide a large area for
multiple activities
2) Acoustic Divider – used
to acoustically divide a
large area for multiple
activities.
Speed: Qued divider curtains operate between 9.14 –9.75
m/min. (30 – 32ft/min.). The competition that uses small H.P.
motors that are geared down and may take 2 to 3 times
longer to operate; a consideration for school facilities that
average 2160 actuation’s in a school year. Curtains should
work quickly to be efficient and cost effective.
Safety: Many curtain manufacturers rely solely on the braking
characteristics of the worm gear reducer to act as the brake
mechanism on their installations (this is not always reliable
and only occurs when the lead angle of the worm gear is less
than the friction angle). On occasion, the worm gear will not
prevent freewheeling once the curtain is in the downward
motion. Qued always installs an electric brake whether
specified or not.
Endurance: Curtains should have adequate reinforcing in the
vinyl to withstand the stress imposed on each design (heavy
weight vinyl 1.9kg/m. (55oz/yd.) will cause premature wear
in an Electrafold lifting system to the upper grommets as the
lifting cables are under more strain). Ideally, curtains should
fall between 18oz. and 32oz., with adequate polyester
reinforcement. All steel cables should be reeled not less than
30 times their diameter and not touch or contact any
obstructions.
Appearance: Curtains should hang square with a minimum
concave on the sides and no sags or creases throughout the
surface. Special care on Electrafolds must be taken to prevent
the lower pipe (ballast) from protruding from the pocket
prematurely. Qued’s unique design prevents this from
occurring.
The following may be of help in choosing a design with the
relative merits and costs of various divider curtain designs.
The costs are based on a curtain hung under a beam
measuring 7315mm high and a gymnasium 18288mm wide
(wall to wall) or 24’x 60’. Installation does not include travel
time or the permanent electrical hook up. Included are
setting of the limit switches and the operation of the curtain
with a temporary connection. Prices are shown in
percentages compared to the most expensive style of curtain
of it’s type (i.e. single wall and double wall).

the upper half of the curtain.
Walkdraw Divider Curtain
Percentage Comparison: 7315mm x 18228mm (24’ x 60’) 54%
This is the most economical divider available. It is not
recommended for heights exceeding 30ft. (9144mm)
because of stress caused by continual pull on leading edge
of curtain when opening and closing. Most wear occurs on
bottom of curtain from abrasion when opening and closing
the curtain. Storage requires a minimum of 167 mm per M
(2"per ft.) of curtain width but should be contained with a
strap, as the curtain will spring open slightly because of the
bulk of the material. The curtain is supplied at 10% wider
than the width of the area to be closed off. Storage track is
extra.
Electrical requirement: 3-phase, 6 Amp at the end of the curtain
near the key switch.
Insulator Divider Curtain (Patent Pending – Centre Roll)
The curtain rolls from 1/2 height and has the advantage of
excellent sound reduction with a high clearance of 406 mm
(16") when retracted. It is made of 4 separate panels that
can be easily replaced. The curtain should be used for
installations where it terminates away from the walls as the
bottom panels of the curtain are separate and cannot retain
balls, people, etc. when raised.
Percentage Comparison: 7315mm x 18228mm (24’ x 60’) 54%
Electrical Requirement: None
Percentage Comparison: 7315mm x 18228mm (24’ x 60’) 82%
Centre Roll® Divider Curtain (Patented design exclusive to
Qued.)
Electrical requirement: 3-phase, 6 Amp at the end of the curtain
near the key switch.
The curtain rolls up from the centre with no stress points
on the vinyl and remains flat and free of creases. It rises to
within 254 mm (10") of the underside of the support and is
therefore, the most suitable electrically operated curtain
where low overhead exists. It is not available with 32 mm
(1 1/4") sport netting.
Full Acoustic Curtain (Patent Pending- Centre Roll)
The curtain is supplied complete with valences and alcoves
to completely seal off the gym when the curtain is down.
The 8" (203 mm) space between the walls of the curtain
almost totally eliminates sound transmission, when installed
with valences and alcoves. The roll-up design reduces stress
points and the curtain remains flat and crease free. This
curtain model has the added feature of absolutely no
exposed hardware. The curtain rises to within 19" of
overhead and is not suitable where end(s) of the curtain is
exposed.

Electrafold & Electra Brail Divider Curtain
Electrical requirement: 3-phase, 6 Amp at the end of the curtain
near the key switch.
This is the most common electrical folding curtain on the
market. This design tends to fold up with the sides bowing
towards the centre of the curtain and imposes high stresses
on the grommets (Electrafold) or brailling rings (Electra
Brail). The folded height of the curtain in the raised
position is between 609mm to 762mm (24" to 30") to
underside of beam.
Double Wall Acoustic Divider Curtain (Accordion Fold)
This is a conventional double wall curtain with continuous
horizontal seams, and is operated by a 3-phase, 2 HP
motor, complete with lifting cables on 3048m (10’m)
centres. Curtains are interconnected at 762mm (30")
intervals causing highly stressed points when curtain is
operated. Care must be taken when fabricating and
installing this curtain to accommodate these loads. The
curtain rises to within 1220mm to 1372mm (48" to 54") to
the underside of the overhead. This curtain model has the
added feature of absolutely no exposed hardware. The
curtains are separated by a 381mm (15") space that ensures
a maximum sound separation when installed with valences
and alcoves. This curtain is not suitable where end(s) of
curtain is exposed.

ACCOUSTIC DIVIDERS
The following curtains require 3-phase power.
Isolator Divider Curtain (Patent Pending – Centre Roll)
Percentage Comparison: 7315mm X 18228mm (24’ X 60’) 100%
This curtain rolls up from the centre causing no stress
points on the curtain and remains flat and free of creases. It
rises to within 381 mm (15") to the underside of the
support and is suitable where low overhead exists. The
dual independent lower sections eliminate impact from one
side of the curtain to the other and have more sounddeadening qualities than the curtains listed above. This
curtain design is not available with 1 1/4" sport netting in

• Electric brake (built-in)
• Inertia brake (optional)
• 110V power requirements, 6Amps only
• Smooth wrinkle-free appearance of curtain
• Unique design that does not require routine maintenance
• Lower section of curtain can be replaced with minimum
cost.
• 5-year warranty on motor and drive
• 2-year warranty on vinyl curtain.
The Curtain
The Center Roll® is a compelling choice in divider systems,
which offers significant features not available on other
designs. Considerably easier to install, the Center Roll® is
often the most economic choice in electrically operated
dividers. The unique design permits greater flexibility,
allowing different materials and colors between the upper
and lower sections. Added to this, the sections can be of
different widths, effectively allowing a passageway while
restricting errant balls.
Supply and install one Centre Roll® Curtain. This modern
design offers some very unique features, such as:
A. The curtain will rise to within 254mm (10") from the
ceiling.
B. There are no lifting cables or highly stressed mounting
points.
C. The curtain can be installed on an existing Walkdraw track
that is a considerable advantage when upgrading to an
electrically operated curtain.
Hardware – Centre Roll®
The Centre Roll® divider is made up of an upper and a
lower section, which are attached to an exposed anodized
aluminum tube at half curtain height. The tube contains an
internal motor, gears and electric brake. The motor is
supplied with a limit switch and thermal protection. Manual
overrides are also available for a slight additional cost, which
permits the curtain to be manually raised or lowered in case
of electrical failure.
~
4
~
Operation
To raise the curtain, the aluminum tube at the centre rotates
and climbs up the curtain rolling up the upper and lower
sections simultaneously. The curtain rolls flat with no highly
stressed areas and its operation is barely audible. A car
takes the torque reaction of the motor and runs on a track
that remains stationary. Alternatively, the torque can be
transmitted through a belt that rolls up with the curtain.
This design does not require any hardware attached to
the walls.
Safety Brake
(Optional)
The top half of the curtain
can be the same as the bottom
or it can be made of flexmesh
1/2" Hanger
Operation is by a spring-loaded key switch, which is
directly accessible and contained in a supplied, all steel
enclosure. The electrical supply is 110 Volt 10 Amp single
phase and is permanently connected by others. Some
curtains may require a secondary synchronised motor
where the size dictates.
Material – Centre Roll®
The curtain consists of two equal sections. The lower
section is constructed of vinyl while the upper section is
either vinyl or Flexmesh. The vinyl is 0.61 kg/m (18
oz./sq.yd.) or 0.85 kg/m (25 oz/sq.yd.) vinyl coated
polyester, with similar appearance and embossed on both
sides, resistant to staph, rot and mildew. Flexmesh is 0.24
kg/m (7 oz/sq.yd.) vinyl coated polyester capable of
resisting UV degradation. The vinyl and Flexmesh meet or
exceed the California Fire Marshall and NFPA standards for
flame resistance. A label from a qualified testing laboratory,
certifying flame resistance and smoke rating of the curtain
shall be attached to the bottom of the curtain.

Walkdraw
divider curtain
The Qued Advantage:
• Extra heavy duty track and steel sealed ball bearing carriers
(see drawing of track)
• Identical appearance of vinyl both sides
• 30mm (1 1/8") overlap welded joints reinforced by sewing
on all welds below 2438 mm (8’) from floor
• Fire certificate attached to curtain indicates on going testing
• No raw edges
• Hemp stiffener sewn into top band to secure grommets and
prevent curtains from sagging between carriers
• 3-year warranty on track and carriers
• 2-year warranty on vinyl curtain
Comments
The most common problems with this curtain are failure of
carriers, flexing of track causing misalignment and jamming at
the splices. Carriers where the ball bearings are exposed
(plastic wheels) prematurely jam and cause difficulty when
curtain is moved.
The Curtain
Supply and install one Qued Walkdraw Curtain or equal. It is
specified where cost is the prime consideration.
This curtain is the most economical divider to install and
maintain. It is available in a variety of styles, colours and
weights. The storage of the curtain is usually at one side of
the gymnasium, perpendicular to the wall or along the side of
a wall if a storage area exists. It can be supplied in two
sections with the lower 2438mm (8’) equipped with Velcro®
strips on both leading edges to facilitate closing of the
curtains.
Hardware – Walkdraw
A carrier with dual steel wheels mounted on ball bearings is
provided every 305mm (12") along the length of the curtain.
A master carrier is provided at both ends to facilitate curtain
movement for opening and closing. The track is a heavyduty, double-T, aluminum extrusion and is supported every
1220 to 1830mm (4' to 6'). The advantage of this type of track
is that it is extremely durable and easily spliced. The track
can be bent at the job site or be pre-bent to facilitate
installation and is suitable for both nylon and steel-wheeled
carriers. Splices and track clamps can be attached to the
upper half of the track and will not affect the smooth
operation of the curtain. The curtain is attached to the carriers
by sturdy S-hooks and plated adjusting chains.
~
6
~
Material – Walkdraw
The curtain is fabricated with 0.61 kg/m2 (18 oz.) or 0.85
kg/m2 (25 oz.) fire and smoke- rated, vinyl-coated polyester
with similar appearance and embossed on both sides.
Curtains can be supplied in solid vinyl or with the bottom
3048 mm (10’) in solid vinyl with an alternative material for
the top portion (see the inside of the back cover).
The top of the curtain contains a 76 mm (3") band of hemp
that is totally concealed and sewn in quadruple. #4 spur
grommets are used at each end of the curtain at 76 mm (3")
centres to accept the master carriers. The sides are hemmed
over 51 mm (2") and double sewn to give a clean, durable
edge. The bottom of the curtain has a 203 mm (8") pocket
hemmed over and double sewn. The curtain is supplied
with a drawstring (leader) in the lower pocket to pull
through a 5 mm (3/16") diameter chain if required. The
width of curtain must be ordered 10 percent larger than the
width of the gymnasium to allow for fullness.

• High speed operation; 9144 mm/min. (30ft/min)
• Stainless steel Durable #4 grommets
• Short lifting cables
• Direct drive; no belts or chains
• Minimum – 1 HP industrial, fan-cooled motor
• Magnetic contactors with overload protection
• Grooved drums (30x diameter of cable)
• Electric brake (standard)
• Secondary brakes (optional)
• Identical appearance of custom vinyl on both sides
• All plated hardware & drive shafts
• 5 year warranty on all 220V single-phase & 3-phase motors
& drives (1 year only on 110V, 1-phase)
• 2 year warranty on vinyl curtain & cables
Comments
The most common problem associated with Electrafold &
Brail curtains is the stretching of the lifting cables. Qued has
reduced this problem by employing grooved wind-up reels
mounted directly over each grommet line, which greatly
reduces the steel cable length. Stretched cables are hazardous
because they protrude from the curtain in the down position
and can cause bodily injuries. Brail curtains on certain
applications reduce this risk as all the lifting hardware is on
one side. They should only be considered in applications
where the lifting side is not close to activities.
Instant reversing motors and drive belts are not equal to a
continuous rated industrial fan cooled motor using magnetic
contactors and a direct-coupled gear reducer, incorporating a
low voltage key switch. Instant reversing motors put full line
voltage and currents through the key switch and because of
their fractional horsepower design, they must be low-geared
and are slow to operate.

Description
Curtain shall be symmetrical and square. Slight concave on sides (50 mm (2") on 7620 mm (25’) on an all vinyl curtain and
100 mm (4") on 7620 mm (25ft) for sports net models) is permissible. Curtain shall have no raw edges or unsightly creases
and windows in the upper section of the curtain must remain level along lower edge. All vinyl seams shall be welded with
29 mm (1 1/8") overlap and sewn over in welds that are within reach when curtain is down. All sewn hems and pockets
shall be double-lock stitched with no chain stitching permitted. Curtain shall be hung to touch the floor or up to 25 mm
(1") above.
Operation
Curtain is raised by 29 mm (1/8") aircraft cables on 3,048 mm (10’) centres (max.) passing through #4 stainless steel
grommets on 457 mm (18") centres minimum on the vertical plane. Cables wind on to 102 mm (4") diameter grooved
drums directly over lift lines with quick adjustment at top of cable. There are no cable clamps or unsightly ends protruding
from the bottom of curtain that could cause injury. Lower ballast pipe is permanently fixed to curtain and cannot protrude
from curtain ends even after years of service.
Electrafold and Electra Brail curtains over 1.1 kg./m. (32 oz./sq.yd.) are not recommended as the added weight causes
premature wear on the lifting grommets.

Curtain Rolls up to within 482 mm (19") of overhead which is
superior to a conventional fold up double wall that folds to
1270 mm (50") from overhead with similar sound transmission
(see chart page 33) and savings in cost, makes this curtain a
best buy for an acoustic barrier. Supplied with valences and
alcoves as required – please specify. Available in wall
installations only.
Hardware – Double Wall Insulator
The system includes a 2hp, 3-phase tubular motor installed in
one end of a custom anodized 140 mm (5 1/2") aluminum
extrusion at half curtain height. Motor is thermally protected
and contains an electric brake, planetary gear system and
limit switches. Motor control is by electric contactors operated
by a spring-loaded key switch.
When energized, the motor and center aluminum extrusion
rotates, this results in the tube winding up the lower portion
of the curtain as it rolls itself up the upper portion of the
curtain. The torque reaction of the motor is transmitted via a
car system that is contained in a track mechanism mounted to
the wall in line with the curtain from half height up to the
overhead.

The Curtain
Supply and install one QUED Model #4-50 Double Wall
Acoustic Divider Curtain system, complete with curtain,
motor, transmission and drive shafts. Valences and alcoves to
be provided, if specified. Available in wall installations only.
A sound transmission reduction of 37 dB is to be attained.
See dB chart on page 33.
The Qued advantage:
• Silent operation shaft drive for
complete reliability with flexible
couplings
• High speed operation: 9144 mm/min.
(30 ft/min) (except in special cases)
• Hardware entirely zinc plated except
for the winch and motor
• Direct drive with flexible couplings,
no chain drives
• Magnetic contactors with overload
protection
• Electric brake (standard)
• Secondary brakes (optional)
• Folds to 1320 mm (52") from
underside of structure
• High strength reinforcement of custom
vinyl material
• Available with matching colour foam
alcoves and valences
• 5 year warranty on all motors and
drives
• 2 year warranty on vinyl curtain
The ends of the curtain are trimmed on site by the installer to
ensure a fit to the walls. The ends are terminated inside the
alcoves if ordered. The curtain drapes on the floor and
converges on a centred lift pipe that is set to remain clear of
the floor. The walls of the curtain are interconnected by wires
spaced at 1525mm (5’) vertically and 766mm (30")
horizontally.
Hardware – Double Wall Acoustic Divider Curtain
The system includes a 3 phase thermally protected reversing
electric motor with electric brake, coupled to a 60:1 doubleoutput worm gear transmission sized and selected to the
curtains requirements. The 32mm (1.75") hollow square steel
drive shafts are attached with flexible couplings to each
output shaft of the gearbox. The drive shaft is supported by
flange-mounted ball bearings at 3048 mm (10’) maximum
spacing. The take-up-reels are yo-yo style eliminating curtain
walk when operated.
A limit switch is connected directly to the reducer
eliminating the need for belts and chain drives. Operation is
by a constant pressure key switch located on both sides of
the curtain.
A 41 mm (1.6") diameter steel tube supports the tops of the
curtain walls. The bottom-lifting pipe is a 76 mm x 102 mm
(3" x 4") galvanised box section.
Inertia safety brakes operate directly on the lifting tube, and
do not require chains or sprockets.
The drive shaft and all hardware are zinc plated.
Alcoves, if required, are manufactured from dense open cell
foam, upholstered in 1.9 kg/m (55 oz.) vinyl, colour matched
to the curtain colour. Alcoves are a minimum of 102 mm (4")
wide by 152 mm (6") thick and mounted on 19 mm (3/4")
plywood with steel brackets to the wall.
Valences are made from matching vinyl and have a complete
bottom pocket. Ceiling attachment should be close to decking
with cut outs for mechanical done by the installer.

Operation – Double Wall Acoustic Divider Curtain
Drive shafts coupled to a central winch, operates the web lift lines on 3048 mm (10’) centres. Silent bearings and direct
drive limit switch complete the mechanism.
As the belts raise the bottom tube, it lifts the cross cables placed at 762 mm (30") centres and causes the walls of the
curtain to hang in folds on either side of the lifting mechanism. In the full down position, the lifting tube remains 152 mm
(6") above the floor with the vinyl resting directly on the floor on either side of the tube.
Material – Double Wall Acoustic Divider Curtain
The curtain is manufactured from sound reducing 1.9 kg/m (55 oz.) or Sound Stop 32 fire and smoke-rated vinyl, reinforced
with polyester scrim. The curtain is manufactured of continuous horizontal lengths, welded and double-stitched together.
Solid D-rings are sewn at 915 mm (30") centres along the horizontal seams. D-rings on the facing wall of the curtain are
linked with 2.4 mm (3/32") diameter aircraft wire cables. The bottom hems have #4 spur grommets at 203mm (8") centres.
Ongoing fire test labels are permanently attached to both sides of the curtain.

Qued Nets
The QUED advantage:
• Qued is the largest supplier of custom sports net in Canada
with well over 2,000,000 square feet supplied annually.
Qued can supply nylon and polyethylene netting in a large
variety of mesh sizes from 7/8" to 5" squares in practically
any required size with either rope or sewn reinforced
borders.
• Qued supplies these nets finished with an abrasion and UV
resistant Dura Dip coating in a wide range of colours. This
unique coating places Qued nets well above those that are
supplied in natural nylon or dyed black or green which
does not offer the added benefit of polyurethane
protection.
• Qued monofilament (transparent) net for indoor
applications is of superior quality made in 1mm nylon and
available in 4 standard widths. The net is pre-set for easy
installation which is otherwise extremely difficult due to the
springy nature of this material.
• Qued nets are available in knotless and knotted
configuration.
• Dura dip colours: black, white, green, red, yellow, beige,
and blue.
• Fire rated net available.

Wainscoting Wall Pads – Permanent
Product # 1-150,1-151, 1-152, 1-153
Qued wainscoting is available in various standard heights and widths and custom sizes. This capacity allows for partial or
complete coverage of walls where protection from injuries on impact is a concern. Permanent pads have a neater
appearance and are generally considered where large sections of walls are to be padded or in some cases, complete room
coverage. Wall pads must be installed on 1" (25mm) furring strips along top and bottom and on centre line unless attached
to a wood wall. Heights greater than 6ft. (1.8m) require 4 horizontal furring strips. Steel mounting "Z" channel hardware as
an alternate mounting system, is available. Cutouts for switches and outlets can be done in factory or by installer.
Construction
Wall pads are made with 2,3 or 4" (50,76 or 100mm) thickness, firm urethane foam with a minimum 60 ILD hardness
bonded to 7/16" aspenite (chipboard) and covered with 16 or 20oz. vinyl. Pads are available with 1"(25mm) nailing strip
top and bottom or flush, (specify). A pad width of 2ft. (61cm) is recommended for ease of installation and both 2ft.
(60cm) and 4ft. (120cm) to minimize costs. Standard heights are 5,6,7 and 8’ (1.5,1.8,2.1 and 2.4m), non-standard heights
are by quote only.
Wall pads can be ordered with 1 1/4"(32mm) cross-link polyethylene foam, but should not be used in direct sunlight (high
foam expansion), or where small children participate (under 80 lbs.), because of foam hardness.
Wall Pads – Removable
Product # 1-32W
Convenient and versatile, Qued removable wall pads are multi-functional, used as floor mats or stored as wall pads. The
pad system requires a 2" (50mm) aluminums extrusion Velcro“ wall hanger that is easily installed to the wall with
mechanical fastening. Double rows of aluminums channel are recommended for installation where pad height is 6ft.
(1.8m) or greater. Pads must be mounted with folds (typically, every 2ft. (60cm)) perpendicular to the floor thus
maintaining a smooth taut surface.
Construction
Removable wall pads are made with 2" (50mm) firm urethane foam covered with a rugged 16 or 18oz. vinyl. All seams are
doubled sewn and 1st grade Velcro“ of a minimum 2" (50mm) width is double sewn on the backside of the pad for use
with the aluminums track as wall protection or on the floor to create large work surfaces. These pads can be any standard
or custom size with a recommended maximum of 32 sq.ft. (3sq.m).
Aluminum Wall Hanger
Product # 1-62
Qued wall hangers are a custom aluminums extrusion with 5/8" (16mm) nailing flanges on each side that does not affect
the holding power of the Velcro“. Exposed Velcro“ is 15% wider than extrusions using Velstic“. The convenient flange on
either side of the extrusion eliminates the need to drive fasteners through the Velcro“. The Velcro“ extrusion is supplied in
6ft. (1.8m) lengths and can be cut easily on site with sheet metal sheers.
Column Pads
Product # 1-154 & 1-155
Available in 2" (50mm) polyurethane (1-154) or 1 1/4" (32mm) cross-link polyethylene
(1-155) foam covered with 16 or 18oz. rugged vinyl. These freestanding pads are custom made with 45∞ corners for full
protection and tight fit. Pads are finished with Velcro“ flap, eyelets for lacing or vinyl flaps for nailing.
Corner pads
Product # 1-159
Pads are available with 2" (50mm) polyurethane or 1 1/4" (32mm) cross-link polyethylene
foam covered with a 16 or 18oz. rugged vinyl. Typically these pads are supplied 6"x6"x72"ht. (152x152x1829mm ht.) with
2 vertical Velcro“ bands and matching stick on Velcro“. Pads offer complete protection to the corner and can be
manufactured in custom sizes.
Stage Pads
Product # 1-156
A custom design pad that is used on front of stage for protection against injury. Design is 16 or 18oz. rugged vinyl over
1 1/4"(32mm) cross-linked polyethylene. The pads are easily installed and removed with the Velcro“ attachment and can
be ordered in any length for easy storage. Typically pads rest on the stage 6" (150mm) and down the front as required.
Order with aluminums wall hanger (#1-62) for attachment on stage front or surface.
