Enjoy the activities that Wisconsin winters bring as you
snowmobile, ice fish or cross
country ski in Northern Wisconsin. The Lakewoods Resort in
Cable, WI has been voted the

miles of super groomed trails in
Bayfield County alone. Sawyer
County and the Hayward Lakes
area add another 600 miles,
starting just three miles away
from our resort. You can ride
for a week and never cross your
tracks as you set off with an experienced local guide. Your accommodations include shared
condos with your own private
bedroom or a hotel room in the
lodge. Enjoy the indoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna.
In addition to snowmobile trails
the Lakewoods Resort also
offers many other amenities
including cross country skiing,
snowshoeing and ice fishing
on Lake Namakagon. For those
who like to cross country ski,
the Lakewoods has a special appeal! Adjacent to the
Rock Lake Trail System in the
Chequamegon National Forest,
the golf course has ski trails
that interconnect with more
than 60km of classic tracks in
the most pristine area. This is a
great place to enjoy a Wisconsin winter! Remember to bring
your snowmobile, outdoor gear
and fishing supplies. Live bait
will be provided. With advance
notice, rentals may be available
at participants expense.
We’ll keep you fed so you can
keep up with the outdoor adventures! Your trip includes a
hearty, daily breakfast buffet,
tasty lunches for all served
right on the ice and bountiful
dinner buffets in the evening.
After snowmobiling, skiing,
snowshoeing or fishing you’ll
be able to socialize with the
rest of the group in Bucks Bar
and Grill where you can enjoy
complimentary soft drinks and
beer until our barrel is empty!
You can also catch your favorite sporting events or shows
on the big screen. Karaoke and
other fun events are on-deck in
Buck’s Bar as well.
