Royal Copenhagen’s distinctive Blue Fluted
Plain pattern was the first produced by Royal
Copenhagen and is still known by many as
Pattern No. 1. It is considered synonymous
with Danish porcelain by connoisseurs all
over the world and is a fundamental part of
Denmark’s cultural heritage. Since 1775,
the Blue Fluted Plain pattern has been
reinterpreted, refined and recreated. These
reinterpretations have resulted in patterns
such as Blue Fluted Half and Full Lace, Blue
Fluted Mega, and Elements.

but are still painted by hand, preserving the original and unique vivid blue effect. Blue Fluted Mega,
created by the young design student Karen Kjældgård-Larsen in 2000, signaled the beginning of a
new adventure. It expresses both historical authenticity and creative, innovative thinking.

Flora Danica
The long and laborious process commenced in 1790 and was finished 12 years and 1,803
different pieces of hand-moulded and hand-painted porcelain later. To this very day Flora
Danica is still moulded and painted by hand as it was more than 200 years ago. A table
laid with Flora Danica is a table fit for royalty. Each piece of porcelain is a true treasure and
equally beautiful in use as on display. Every piece is adorned with a different plant motif,
which can be chosen from the more than 3,000 different motifs available from the original
Flora Danica work.

Royal Copenhagen Collectibles
Royal Copenhagen collectibles are particularly coveted and the plates with evocative
motifs long ago became synonymous with royal Danish porcelain. On this year’s Christmas
plate, peace has fallen. The house is decked with the finest Christmas decorations and the
children and their mother relax in the warmth of the fire crackling in the hearth. They take
turns guessing what wonderful presents Father Christmas has for them. Mother promises
that Santa will remember to bring a bone for the family’s puppy who is lying on the warm
blanket and listening.
This year’s Christmas plate is drawn by the artist Sven Vestergaard.
The figure of the puppy is created by sculptor Allan Therkelsen.

Bing & Grøndahl Collectibles
To celebrate its 100th jubilee this year, the Anniversary plate is decorated with a
combination of the motifs from the very first Christmas plate in 1895, and the 100th
Christmas plate from 1995.
The Anniversary plate was first released in 1915 and is only made every five years. The artist is
Jørgen Nielsen.
On this year’s Bing & Grøndahl Christmas plate we see the industrious Father Christmas in
his sleigh together with his Christmas presents. He joyously greets two excited children
on his way through the snow-clad landscape. The Bing & Grøndahl Christmas plate is the
world’s oldest and was first released in 1895.

Opening Order Minimum:
Shipments:
The Opening Order for first time accounts is $1,000.
Arabia or Rörstrand may be added to a new account at
an additional minimum of $250 per brand.
All products ship from Vineland, NJ, with a 5-7 day
lead time. If specific carriers are required, this must
be approved in advance. The customer must arrange
shipping and be billed directly.
Reorder Minimum:
The reorder minimum is $100.
Drop -Ship:
There is no Drop-Ship Order minimum for established
accounts. A $10 fee will be added to all Drop-Ship
orders.

Payments:
Visa, Master Card, and Discover are accepted for pre-pay
only (We do not accept AMEX).
Credit Cards are not accepted for net payment terms.
Net payment terms will only be extended upon the review
of a complete Fiskars credit application-sales agreement.
Breakage, Shortages and Defects:
Any breakage, shortage or defective merchandise must
be reported within 30 days of shipping, and will be
replaced at no cost to the customer. All breakage and
defective items must be returned to Fiskars, unless
otherwise approved.
Merchandise Returns:
Merchandise returns will not be accepted by Fiskars
without an approved return authorization and RA
number. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Any returns not in resalable condition will be returned
to the customer at their expense and no credit will be
issued.

Special Order Items Policy:
Special order items are not stocked in the U.S. and are placed as special orders. Pricing will be at 50% off MSRP. No
additional discounting, promotions, or dating will apply. Minimum order at cost is $300. All orders must meet case pack
quantities. There will be no returns. Any breakage, shortage or defective merchandise must be reported to customer
service, within 5 days of shipping and a credit will be issued to your account.
Procedure:
Special order items are to be written on their own PO and submitted to customer service. Do not include any regular
assortment merchandise on the same PO. Delivery time will normally be 12 weeks, however this is not guaranteed.
Customer service will not have availability or order status until the order arrives in Vineland, NJ. All other procedures follow
the same processes as regular PO’s.
