November Business of The Month
The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce presented the November 2015 Business of the Month
Award to Care Regional Medical Center.
At CRMC exceptional people are making a difference and providing excellence just for you. They
participate in all Chamber of Commerce events and are always giving back to the Aransas Pass
community. The hospital was major sponsor for the Women's Club of Aransas Pass Style Show
and participated in the Shattered Dreams program with local High School students, sent 25 volunteers to help serve 500 guest at the Aransas Pass Fall Feast. CRMC staff and clinical staff supported Aransas Pass Panther Varsity Football team by participating in the Aransas Pass Homecoming Parade where they also promoted breast cancer awareness and collected donations.
CRMC performed a number of health screenings for 300 San Patricio County Employees, distributed bike helmets to students at local schools and screened for blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI,
and depression along with handing out educational information for healthy living at the community
RV Parks. The Chamber is pleased to recognize this business leader and thank them for their active role within the community. Thank you Care Regional Medical Center!

November Informational Luncheon
“State of the District APISD”
The AP Chamber of Commerce Chamber is committed to supporting the success of student’s education.
A crowd of about 75 came out, showing their support for education
in Aransas Pass at a State of the Schools luncheon hosted by the
AP Chamber at the Civic Center.
Guest Speaker at the luncheon, APISD Superintendent, Mark Kemp
told of the directions and transformations within APISD. Chamber
member, Jack’s Dinner Bell catered the event.
Community Pep Rally
The Aransas Pass Chamber of
Commerce in conjunction with
Aransas Pass ISD hosted a Community Pep rally. Celebrating District
Champions, the AP Varsity High
School Panther Football Team. In
addition to holding the pep rally, a
tribute to our local law enforcement
and their efforts of serving and protecting our community. KRIS TV
covered the story and broadcasting
live on the 5 am - 7 am Morning Edition and again in the afternoon.
They did it again! It’s Always a great time at Aransas Autoplex! This Chamber mixer was held to
build business relationships in an informal, relaxed business setting. The decorations were exquisite and the food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you L&F for the complimentary beverages.
The Chamber is here to support and represent our local businesses and a successful business
mixer brings businesses together.

Leadership Aransas Pass Class IV
Session 3 “Education & Community Support”
Lisa Barker, of Aransas Property Management and graduate of LAP Class III and also member of the
Chamber Board of Director’s, facilitated the November session “Education and Community Support”.
The group learned firsthand about the local education system with a day trip that included a visit to the
local schools. The heard presentations from Mr. Kemp, APISD Superintendent, and school principals
during the tour. As part of this session the group also attended APISD board meetings. To get a better
understanding and identify the community support in Aransas Pass, each participant visited with either a
non-profit or civic organization and at this session, shared and discussed their finding with the other participants.
