Project Cost
With improvements to the campgrounds and proposed cabin
sites at Greenbo State Resort Park. The park embarked on a
sanitary sewer study to determine if capacity issues exist at the
existing infrastructure. The scope of the project mapping existing
facilities, existing pump stations, and performing sewer CADD
modeling of the entire network. The park consisted of multiple
pump station many of which operated in parallel and some in
series all of which extend to the parks waste water treatment
plant. Once modeling of the system had been achieved any
improvements to the system could be modeled to determine the
impacts on the run times of the pumps and capacity of the
forcemains and gravity system. The study also served as a data
collection and reporting record for future projects in the park. It
was determined that the proposed improvements to the
campgrounds and proposed cabins would not imposed any
negative impacts on the existing infrastructure.
