Centralising information
The alarm control panel is the brain behind your
system. It manages radio information from the control
devices and detectors. If an alarm is triggered, the
panel sounds its built-in siren and a series of alerts
and deterrents.
Your orders are confirmed by voice synthesis, which
also warns you of any anomalies or alarms activated
in your absence.
Deterring intruders and
ensuring remote protection
If an intruder is detected, the Espace
control panel activates the alert and
deterrent devices along with a powerful
strobe-siren to frighten him away.
The “telephone transmission feature” built
into the alarm control panel calls up three
people (designated by yourself), or a
remote alarm monitoring centre to notify
them.

8 intrusion protection groups
You can switch each individual group of detectors on or off and set
up selective activation of the alerts and deterrents for each one.
Groups 5 to 8 can only be controlled from the control panel keypad or

Protecting your homeand
your property
There is a wide range of detectors available for spotting attempts
to break into your home. A qualified intrusion detection triggers
the sirens and strobes hence frightening off the intruder. If the
control panel has a phone dialler module, it will also telephone
three correspondents of your choice or a remote alarm monitoring
company.
Group 4 operating
Groups 1, 2, 3 & 4 operating
Let’s imagine you want to protect the ground floor, first floor, office,
garage, etc., separately.
You can allocate up to 80 different detectors to these groups, each
with individual identification and personalised voice synthesis. If an
alarm is triggered or an anomaly detected, you can easily and quickly
identify which detector or detectors are concerned.
Protecting your loved ones
The “Stay/Presence ON” feature means you can protect your home
while you are there. If there is an attempt to break in, the system
is discretely activated.
If you are attacked or you suddenly fall ill, you can use the remote
control or keypad to activate a silent alarm via telephone
transmission (if your control panel has a built-in dialler) or a
general alarm.
3 intrusion detection levels
Peripheral detection:
The roller/shutter blind sensors, control remote keypad with proximity
detector or external pet-tolerant motion detector detect intruders
before they break in.
● Perimeter doors & windows detection:
Using contact detectors on doors or glassbreak detectors on windows
you can protect all the entrances to your home.
● Interior detection:
Using motion detectors you can protect different areas in your home,
even when there are pets.

Protecting against fire hazards
With the smoke detector and “temperature-rise detection” feature
included in all the motion detectors, the system provides you with
fire protection 24 hours a day.
If a fire outbreak is detected, it will activate the appropriate
warning system: local warning, sirens triggered and / or telephone
transmission with specific message if the control panel has a
dialler module.
Protection against certain domestic hazards can also be provided
(freezing, flooding, mains power cut, etc.).
Progressive deterrence
Depending on the level of detection, your system will provide a
progressive response:
• external peripheral detectors can trigger a discrete or full pre-alert,
• interior perimeter or interior detectors trigger a general alarm.

A broad range of control devices
Miniature remote controls (with 2 and 4 functions)
Can be used to switch your alarm system on or off, from inside or
outside your home, by simply pushing on a button. They also control
additional features such as personal attack protection.

Control remote keypads
Can be easily used by the whole family. With different access codes,
they offer considerable flexibility for managing occasional users
(neighbours, family, caretaker, etc.), as well as the possibility of
restricting access rights. Some keypads confirm that the control panel
has received orders by lighting indicators or issuing a voice message.
In addition, the Espace multi-functional mobile keypad can be used to
operate the alarm system, indoor and outdoor electrical appliances
and different automatic control systems.

When there is no fixed telephone line
In the event of an intrusion or technical alarm, the GSM telephone
dialler will send you remote warnings even when there is no landline.

An information number
Can be used to warn a person of your choice (yourself, for example,
on your mobile phone) that something is happening.

Remote control via the telephone
Using a dialler module or GSM telephone dialler, you can arm or
disarm your system remotely over the phone (access protected by a
secret code).

A set of features and tools have been specially designed for your
installation contractor to build you a top-quality, secure system and
provide you with fast and efficient maintenance.
An operating mode specifically dedicated to the
installation contractor
providing extremely easy access to system configuration and making
installation changes risk-free (only when the alarm is not armed). For
greater security this mode can only be accessed with your
authorisation. What’s more, you can use the dedicated “test mode” to
test your system without setting off the sirens.

Built-in voice synthesis
As well as all the control devices designed for maximum user comfort,
your system has built-in voice synthesis to provide clear,
understandable confirmation of all commands: system ON or OFF, but
also messages relating to the events memory (alarms or anomalies) so
that you can precisely identify the devices concerned.
Transload® downloading software
developed especially for your installation contractor: configuration,
maintenance, control, daily events check, specific identification and
monitoring of the state of all system devices, and all from a distance.
Your installation contractor can only access these features with your
authorisation.

As well as the local deterrents, 3 people (designated by yourself) can
be immediately warned by phone (including mobiles), or a remote

The Daitem alarm stands up
to tampering
Failsafe radio transmission
The fact that there are no wires between the main security devices
renders the system more sabotage-proof.
Furthermore, the different frequencies used by TwinBand® are shared
between two very distant bands (433 Mhz and 868 Mhz).
They cannot therefore be easily jammed at the same time. However,
if this were to happen, the attempt to interfere with the radio link
would be immediately detected by the system, which would then
provide both a local alert and a remote alert over the phone.
Anti-tamper systems
All the devices in your system are mechanically protected against
opening and removal. If anybody attempts to tamper with the system
an alarm is immediately triggered.
What’s more, all the control keypads are protected against systematic
attempts to discover the access code.

Failsafe dual power supply
The total absence of any connection to the 240 V mains power
supply overrides any risks relating to a power cut, be this accidental
or on purpose. All Espace system devices are totally autonomous.
The TwinPower®* supply, made up of two separate professional
lithium batteries, enables the system to continue to operate even if
one battery fails.
With this type of power supply the devices have an average battery
life of 5 years (in normal conditions of use).
Permanent self-monitoring
All the system’s devices are identified and supervised (up to 80
detectors, 10 control devices, 10 alert and deterrent devices, 4
control interfaces and 10 control relays or receivers).
When an alarm is triggered or an anomaly occurs the device
concerned can be easily identified (personalised voice identification
for detectors).

Detection of telephone line cuts
Because the system is supervised, the status of each system device
can be checked in relation to:
- the power supply (to know whether the batteries need changing),
- the protected entrances (to check whether they have been left
open),
- the radio links,
- the anti-tamper system.
If the telephone line is intentionally cut, the line’s self-monitoring
device built into your system can trigger a local notification and can
also activate a Daitem autonomous GSM dialler (optional).
Ultra failsafe communication protocol
The Daitem Espace system has a communication protocol made up
of:
- a transmission error detection device to prevent false alarms,
- millions of possible radio codes to prevent the same code from
being used,
- an exclusive tamper-proof system to prevent attempts to reproduce
radio messages to switch your alarm system on or off.

depends on the quality of your installation. When you trust an experienced
professional with the installation of your system you can count on tried and
tested equipment and services. This guarantees you the reliability you deserve

Advice
Your installation technician is the best placed specialist to provide
you with advice. After listening to you and visiting the premises
to be protected, he will diagnose your needs and recommend the
most suitable configuration for your home. From then on, if you
wish to change or upgrade your protection system, he will know
the most appropriate additions to be made.
Top-quality installation
Installing your wireless alarm system does not require any major
work or wiring. Your interior design will remain perfectly intact
when the various system components are put into place. Because
there is no wiring, the devices can be positioned where they will
operate most efficiently.
Efficient, speedy maintenance
Your contractor will configure your system and save all the data
on a PC. This means that, with your authorisation, he will be able
to check your system and detect any anomalies. He can then act
