FOOD DONATIONS FOR THE MONTH

Hello Fellow Brothers and Sisters in
Christ. We are very low on canned
Beans, stuffing, Brown Gravy, Tuna,
Peanut Butter and Jelly. We are also
collecting canned goods; like a Meal
Cans, Corn, Green Beans, Packaged Spaghetti
and Spaghetti Sauce.
The item of the month for June is
Men's Clothing. If you have a
men's article of clothing that is no
longer needed, we have men in
need who would be happy to
have it. That includes teenager clothing too.
Must be in good condition. Please no clothing
that is stained, ripped or in need of repair. You
can drop your donation off in the designated
donation bins located in Maher Hall. All of your
donations are greatly appreciated.

Are you grieving the loss of a
loved one and it seems as if the
pain will never end? Come and
experience God's comfort and
love with our Grief Share Support Group. We
will help you through this most difficult time.
We will be meeting every OTHER Monday
from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Damien
Center, Room 4, June 15th and June 29th. We
are available for private sessions over the telephone or at the Church for those who are most
in need.

RCIA IS OPEN “YEAR ROUND”
The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) process is
designed for adults to receive the Sacraments
of Initiation that include Baptism, Confirmation
and First Holy Communion during Easter Season. We meet Sunday mornings from 10:30
a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
RCIA is a “year round” process meaning that
you can enter RCIA anytime during the year. All
candidates must experience a full liturgical year,
therefore, it’s good to enter the journey as soon

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS
We are starting new groups of Small Faith
Communities to study the Bible using the Little
Rock Scripture Study. You can also join
existing groups who need more members.

Formation Program at the Diocese of San

Vacation Bible School 2015
During the week of June 22-26, at the amazing
SonSpark Labs, children will explore
God’s life-changing plan as they find
out the answers to life’s most
important questions. With ageappropriate Bible stories,
experiments, games, crafts, snacks,
and songs, kids in preschool (age 4)
through 6th grade will encounter an amazing
aspect of God’s life-changing plan. Going into
Jr. High? We have opportunities for interactive
learning the good news about Jesus designed
just for you! High school students and beyond
(yes, even grandparents) can participate by
volunteering in a variety of ways. For more

year’s Vacation Bible School retreat

theme experiments, games, crafts, and snack
areas, group leaders and assistants to lead
small groups of children through the fun
activities each night.

It’s not too early to
begin thinking of the
next catechetical
year. I f you love
your faith and want
to share it with the
children at St. Paul
the Apostle, stop by our office for information how to be a volunteer catechist
for the 2015-2016 Catechetical year. All
adult volunteers who interact with children must be background checked and
complete an online Protecting God’s
Children® course.
Summer Training is Available!
The end of the catechetical year has arrived! You
may feel like you have run a marathon, especially as
you prepared, planned and delivered one lesson
after another! And you did it all with a smile and
creative grace. NOW you can bask in the knowledge
that you made it through - You can be the STAR of
