Now, Viega offers our revolutionary press technology in the first
black steel press pipe joining system.
Viega MegaPress is a black steel pipe joining method that reduces
installation time and provides a clean, safe, reliable connection every
time. Viega MegaPress fittings have the genuine Viega Smart Connect
feature that allows the installer to easily detect unpressed fittings
during testing. Viega MegaPress makes it possible to join black steel
pipe without compromising the integrity of the pipe.
Viega MegaPress is a cold press joining method available in IPS sizes
1/2" to 2" and can be utilized with ASTM A53 Schedule 5 to Schedule
40 black steel pipe.
Viega MegaPress, with an EPDM sealing element, can be installed in
systems such as compressed air, hydronic heating, fire protection and
chilled water.
Viega MegaPressG, with an HNBR sealing element, is suitable for
Schedule 40 fuel oil, natural gas and LP gas installations.
