Learning Loans

If you are over 24, you may qualify for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.
These loans help you to pay the fees charged.
Most learners aged 24 and over, studying at Level 3 and above, will qualify for a loan from the UK
Government. It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit
check. You won’t have to pay anything back until you income is over £21,000 a year.
For more information visit www.nationalcareersservice.direct.gov.uk/advancelearningloans
Could you be a volunteer?
We need volunteers to support learners on Hull Training and Adult Education courses in centres across
the city.
Some of our learners urgently need one-to-one support, especially with reading and writing activities
in their classroom sessions, but also with maths and some vocational subjects. If you are interested in
getting involved we would love to hear from you. For more information, please call Fiona Joy on
01482 615 349 or email [email protected]
