It is brewed using a careful blend of Pale, Crystal malts and a blend of 3 varieties of English Hops to deliver both a pleasant but not overpowering aroma. A great tasting session ale. Tetley’s Imperial (North East) Alc3.2%Vol This pours a deep amber colour, with a tight, cream coloured head. On the nose it has a pleasantly hoppy, sweet malt-edged aroma. On the palate the malt is the dominant character, and the beer is smooth and easy to drink, There is a nice hoppy bitterness and a touch of smoky grain in the finish. Theakston Mild is particularly notable because of the three-malt brewing process we use. Each different malt (pale, crystal and black malt) makes its own contribution, and the result is a dark, dry, satisfying pint. Tetley’s Mild Tight creamy head and with a reddish chestnut hue, It has a hint of sweetness on the tongue with caramel, fruit and a hint of hop. A classic dark mild.
