Cattle will sell under the standard Terms &
Conditions as adopted by the American Angus
Association. All cattle must be paid for prior to
leaving the facility unless prior arrangements have
been made with the Sale Manager and seller.

Buyers that cannot attend the sale but wish to participate during the live auction are encouraged to utilize the conference call where you can bid with other

Bull Delivery & Housing
Upon request, free delivery up to 150 mile radius of
Madison, SD. Sellers will assist in coordinating any
trucking needs and grouping cattle for at least cost
load. Bulls purchased, paid for and taken on sale
day will receive a $50 discount on bulls only. Bulls
can be housed free of charge until May 1, 2015. A
charge of $3/day will be administered after May 1st
and payable at the time you pick up your bull or he
is delivered. The buyer will be required to purchase
mortality insurance on all bulls sent back to be
housed at Cotton Angus or Hyland Angus. Details
on the insurance will be available sale day.
Retained Interest
Unless otherwise stated in the sale book or
announced from the sale block, a 50% semen interest will be retained by the sellers on each bull selling.
The buyer receives full possession and full control of
the bull (including salvage value). At some time in
the future if semen sales become a possibility (as
many bulls are “discovered” as older bulls) the buyer
and seller will share in semen sales on that bull. This
semen interest transfers along with the bull in the
event that you sell the bull at a future date.

We have selected an elite group of bulls and heifers for this year’s sale offering. This group of pure Angus cattle has generations of problem free genetics backing them. If you have any questions on the sale offering, give

We are partnering with DV Auction again this year to broadcast our sale online and offer videos of the cattle
for you to view prior to the sale. Live internet bidding will be available.

Dear Friends,
It's difficult to believe another year has passed and here I
am, struggling again to let go of these animals I know I
cannot keep. It's a bitter-sweet exercise in decision-making but it gives me great satisfaction to watch how well
they do for you in your own herd.
So I'll keep this short: I make breeding decisions slowly, with great deliberation and care. Just ask my wife. I
brood, I mull, I study, I ponder. I'm telling you this to
encourage you to investigate my new Delia female line. I'm
excited about this decision and I hope you'll be too.
