Please find attached a petition signed by 976 supporters (garnered within one week) in request for council
its proposal to stop delivering services at the rock climbing wall at the
Events Centre.

Since there is currently no specific interest from any commercial operator to provide a rock climbing facility

netball courts, the event centre, and swimming pool, and these are not all
expected to make money for the council. Just because climbing is seen as a
