to go and quickened away, his winning
margin a soft two and a quarter lengths.

Analysis: Stitch Me Up followed up his debut fourth recently at
Sale to score a very good win here. He was eased from his wide
barrier (10) and settled last in the 11-horse field. He was giving
the leader about eight lengths as he fanned wide coming to the
home turn. He put in a quick run, going to third at the 300m and
gradually drew clear, despite racing greenly to win by a length. It
was a smart effort. He then survived a protest from the runner
up for interference in the straight. Karigara travelled nicely in fifth
place, one off the rails. He switched wide at the turn, went to fourth
at the 200m and fought on particularly well in the latter stages for
a promising second one debut.

He responded to riding to take the lead at the 100m and went on
to win in good style by a length in good time (57.94) on the Dead4
track. He should continue to improve and is quite promising
