As a foal is born with a sterile gut it is quickly populated with beneficial and pathogenic bacteria from the environment. Protexin contains billions of naturally occurring and beneficial bacteria essential for intestinal good health. Protexin is recommended for at least the first 5 days to get your foal off to a healthy start. NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 3 www.inglis.com.au Newmarket, Sydney T: +61 2 9399 7999 I Oaklands, Melbourne T: +61 3 9333 1422 Timeform Review Timeform Review of late autumn and winter racing in NSW and Queensland By Alex Steedman and Gary Crispe The back end of the 2013/14 racing season saw a handful of promising types emerge who made late claims to chase spring riches later in the year. The success of the Sydney Autumn Carnival and the launch of ‘The Championships’ in particular created a huge buzz throughout the racing industry during autumn 2014. Chautauqua as he found clear running room along the rail from the 200m before a 1.5 length win ensued. Stablemate Leebaz 40 minutes earlier took out the Group 3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup (1600m). Unable to sneak into the field for the lucrative Doncaster Mile following his narrow second behind Weary in the Prelude, Team Hawkes gave Leebaz a let up before the gelding re-emerged a month later at Hawkesbury. Appearing well suited down on the limit weight, Leebaz was sent out as clear odds-on favourite and didn’t disappoint. Leebaz was eventually settled in third behind the leading pair of Malavio and Keep Cool. Almalad scores in Sydney before his Brisbane Group 1 victory. Racegoers were witness to Group 1 feats by some of Australia’s best gallopers in the form of Lankan Rupee, Dundeel and Fiorente. This excitement concludes so abruptly with the end of the Sydney Autumn Carnival cue for our best racehorses to be spelled over the winter or prepared for stud duties in the spring. From six Group races being conducted on the final day of the Sydney Autumn Carnival, the quality of racing drops off noticeably at metropolitan meetings. Standalone meetings at Hawkesbury and Scone follow before focus shifts to Queensland until near season’s end. The months of May and June give many the chance to move from the shadows of their more talented counterparts while on the other hand, allows promising sorts the opportunity to show they might be ready for tilts at Group 1 glory during major carnivals the following season. Already still enjoying what was a highly successful Sydney Autumn Carnival where NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 they won the Golden Slipper with Mossfun, Team Hawkes wisely held some of their brightest talent back for a raid on the Hawkesbury meeting in the first week of May. Chautauqua is shaping as one to watch during the spring based on an encouraging autumn campaign with the highlight being the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas (1400m). “McDonald rode Leebaz like the best horse in the race, confidently peeling the gelding off heels from the 800m.” While the win only yielded the Encosta De Lago gelding a Timeform figure of 107, impressive was the fact Chautauqua posted the victory getting by largely on raw ability alone. James McDonald following the Hawkesbury Guineas told of the ‘hard time’ Chautauqua gives him. On that occasion, Chautauqua missed the start and wanted to overrace for McDonald in the middle stages. A ground saving ride proved the key for McDonald rode Leebaz like the best horse in the race, confidently peeling the gelding off heels from the 800m. Leebaz was perfectly poised to strike upon straightening and hit the front a furlong from home. Wistful challenged late however Leebaz had done enough for a career best victory. The four-year-old was awarded a Timeform rating of 110 for the performance, considered equal to his Doncaster Prelude second achieved in a stronger field. With six wins from ten starts plus a Group 1 placing to his name, Leebaz shapes as a progressive sort. It will be interesting to see the spring program Team Hawkes maps out for the gelding. By Zabeel, Leebaz is out of the same mare (Polish Princess) who produced 2012 Australian Derby runner up Polish Knight. Pedigree suggests Leebaz will be right at home over 2000m and beyond however hasn’t looked out of place in his last two runs over a mile. 5 Timeform Review continued… Having her ninth start of a campaign which commenced on the first day of autumn, Cosmic Endeavour’s strong constitution was showcased for the final time this season in the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara (1400m) at Eagle Farm. With an inside barrier, back to weight-forage conditions and Tommy Berry returning from Hong Kong for the ride, all augured well for Cosmic Endeavour’s chances of a maiden Group 1 victory. Afforded all of the favours positioned sixth on the fence, it was always going to be a case of Cosmic Endeavour just needing clear running in the straight. Held up briefly after having turned for home, it wasn’t long before Berry forced Cosmic Endeavour into open space. Zoustar, now retired to Widden Stud. The Hawkesbury standalone meeting also marked Peter Snowden’s final day as head trainer of the Darley Australia operation. Snowden exited his role with a bang. After training the trifecta in Race 1, he had a quinella in Race 2 before Aerobatics defended her Darley Crown and continued Peter Snowden’s brilliant record in the Listed Fillies and Mares event. The leading horseman has claimed five of the past seven renewals of the Darley Crown. A fortnight later, his replacement at Darley in John O’Shea enjoyed his first stakes success for the breeding operation during the Scone Carnival. Cameo claimed the Scone Cup (1600m) on the first day of the carnival before stablemate Seaside took out the Dark Jewel Classic (1400m). While the black type will prove most valuable for the two mares, the most lucrative event over the course of the Scone Carnival was the Inglis 3YO Guineas. Despite there being no temptation of black type, a capacity field still contested the Inglis 3YO Guineas won by the talented Cosmic Endeavour (1400m). It wasn’t the first time Cosmic Endeavour greeted the judge first during her autumn campaign having claimed two wins previously including the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m). Credit to the filly’s toughness, the Scone Guineas was far from her last success in 2013/14 either. Cosmic Endeavour took strong form to Brisbane and hit the ground running at her Sunshine State debut by claiming the Dane Ripper Stakes (1400m). 6 Cosmic Endeavour after her cosy run in transit was full of running and responded well for the talented young hoop. The filly overpowered more seasoned rivals in Catkins and Steps In Time while also holding off late challenges from the likes of Angel Of Mercy and Avoid Lightning. Defending champion Red Tracer could only manage sixth and is one of a handful of mares who concluded their career in the Tattersall’s Tiara prior to broodmare duties this spring. “Waterhouse saddled up 20 stakes runners in Brisbane during season 2013/14 which is well up on the previous handful of seasons.” The Tattersall’s Tiara came in right around the prior five year winning average of the event and also continued the dominance of fillies in the final Group 1 of the season. Four of the past five Tattersall’s Tiara renewals have been won by fillies.Cosmic Endeavour concluded her 2013/14 season with a new master figure of 116. She is now enjoying a well deserved break prior to a spring preparation which will likely have mare’s features in Melbourne such as the Tristarc Stakes (1400m) and Myer Classic (1600m) as main goals. Waterhouse saddled up 20 stakes runners in Brisbane during season 2013/14 which is well up on the previous handful of seasons. Of those 20 starts, Waterhouse claimed four wins, two of which were at Group 1 level. While Cosmic Endeavour claimed the final Group 1 of the season for Tulloch Lodge, Almalad chimed in three weeks earlier when claiming the Group 1 J.J Atkins (1600m) at Eagle Farm. Almalad was sent north after coasting to a soft first up win on his home track. The Al Maher gelding lined up against a number of interstate raiders out to claim the final juvenile Group 1 of the season. Working hard in crossing from a wide draw to sit outside the lead, that early effort look set to take it’s toll midway up the straight as favourite Brazen Beau headed him approaching the 100m. Almalad’s fighting qualities were on display though as he kicked back for a slender success. In doing so, the gelding prevented a fillies clean sweep of the two-year-old Group 1 races for the season after Earthquake (Blue Diamond), Mossfun (Golden Slipper), Peggy Jean (Sires’ Produce) and Go Indy Go (Champagne) flew the flag for the fairer sex earlier in the year. While the J.J Atkins rarely proves a strong form reference heading toward the following spring and autumn, Almalad at least deserves the chance at Guineas riches as a three-year-old. Other younger horses to enjoy maiden Group 1 successes over the Queensland Winter carnival were Sonntag and Tinto who claimed the Queensland Derby and Queensland Oaks respectively. Four Group 1s for the older horses were conducted over the Winter Carnival with the Doomben Cup (2000m) the lone middle distance contest. The event proved a fitting farewell for top class mare Streama and sadly the final Group 1 success for champion trainer Guy Walter who died of a heart attack five days later. Walter long declared he had a soft spot for Streama and understandably so given what the mare had done during her 34 start career. While Streama had not been at her brilliant best against stronger company over the Sydney autumn carnival, it looked like a case of being in the right place at the right time for the rising six-year-old as she ventured north. Streama was the main beneficiary of a Doomben Cup which lacked the depth and quality of previous renewals and the mare duly capitalised. The Guy Walter-trained mare was the only horse in the contest to have genuinely measured up at Group 1 weight-for-age level previously. A fitting farewell for Streama had been discussed throughout the week and things Timeform Review continued… began ideally for her as Blake Shinn positioned the mare third on the fence behind early leader Leebaz. Cup (1200m) at Doomben and farewelled racing with a fourth in Eagle Farm’s Stradbroke Handicap won by River Lad. Having finished second in the Queen It appeared the planets were in alignment for the daughter of Stratum as she got a dream split soon after straightening before striking the front 100m from home. Spirit Of Boom will commence his stallion career this spring for Eureka Stud at Cambooya, just south of Toowoomba. Like Spirit Of Boom, a number of those who feature prominently in the Timeform ratings for their respective age groups this season have been lost to the breeding industry. closure for the champion entire, joining “Spirit Of Boom will commence his stallion career this spring for Eureka Stud at Cambooya, just south of Toowoomba.” Melbourne Cup victory assessed at 125. Leebaz was brave in defeat while Junoob finished third. Streama went into the Doomben Cup after claiming a below average renewal of the Hollindale Stakes (1800m). While not vintage running’s of the Hollindale Stakes or Doomben Cup, they at least gave Streama the chance to exit racing on a winning note. The Stratum mare has been a marvel for connections having won ten of her 34 starts. She has placed a further 13 times and amassed prizemoney earnings in excess of $2.6million. Dundeel will stand his first season at Arrowfield Stud this spring after the four-year-old’s race career ended with a fitting farewell in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m). Elizabeth last year, Dundeel going one better in 2014 can be considered perfect Durbridge in 1993/4 as the only horses in history to run second in the event one year and then win the following. Fiorente commences stud duties at Eliza Park’s Victorian base after a season where he gave trainer Gai Waterhouse her first He ran to that figure again during the autumn when claiming the Group 1 Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington. There is a three way tie at the top of the ratings table for the older horses this season with Atlantic Jewel sharing the highest spot on the podium with Buffering and Red Cadeaux. Testament to the mare’s toughness, Streama is a four-time Group 1 winner with victories at the top level during her two, three, four and five-year-old seasons. During this time she achieved a master Timeform rating of 122. Another popular Group 1 victory during the winter carnival was Spirit Of Boom’s Doomben 10,000 (1350m) success. Spirit Of Boom had been his usual consistent self leading into the contest and earlier in the season confirmed a stallion career by taking out the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley. The Sequalo entire maximised his stallion value further in the Doomben 10,000. From barrier 2, Spirit Of Boom and jockey Michael Rodd enjoyed an ideal run in transit as they settled sixth on the fence. Always travelling well, Rodd barged Spirit Of Boom into clear running soon after straightening and went about reeling in early leader Buffering and stablemate Temple Of Boom. Spirit Of Boom strode to the front 50m from home and claimed the Doomben 10,000 ahead of brother Temple Of Boom with Buffering weakening late for third. Awarded a Timeform rating of 120, the Doomben 10,000 run yielded Spirit Of Boom a new master rating, one pound clear of his prior peak figure claimed when winning the William Reid Stakes (1200m). On either side of his Doomben 10,000 victory, Spirit Of Boom was a half length second behind Famous Seamus in the BTC NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 Spirit of Boom won his second Group 1 at the Brisbane carnival. 7 AN AUSTBROKER MEMBER Timeform Review continued… Streama bowed out of racing in taking the Doomben Cup. Returning from a lengthy injury enforced spell, Atlantic Jewel fell just days short of a Cox Plate (2040m) tilt after sustaining another tendon injury. Atlantic Jewel’s brilliance was there for all to see during the spring and while her colours were lowered for the only time in the Underwood Stakes at Caulfield by Dundeel, the mare unbeknownst at that point exited racing on a winning note as she won the Caulfield Stakes (2000m) with a performance assessed at 127, just below her best. The top end of our current three-year-old crop has been thinned out noticeably prior to the new season. Shamus Award became the first horse to break maiden status in the Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m) at Moonee Valley last spring and proved the display was no fluke when making all in the Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington during the autumn. He exits racing with a master Timeform figure of 124 and will stand his first season at Widden Stud in the Upper Hunter. Joining him at Widden Stud will be dual Group 1 winning sprinter Zoustar. NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 Zoustar harnessed the ability he showed as a juvenile to its fullest during a 2013 spring campaign where he claimed both the Golden Rose Stakes (1400m) and the Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m). In England being prepared for the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee, Zoustar sadly sustained a ligament injury a month out from his main goal and soon after was retired. While a number of Australia’s big name performers have exited racing at the end of their latest campaign, the highest Timeform rated galloper to have graced Australian racing in season 2013/14 will continue on. “Lankan Rupee proceeded to win seven of his eight starts during 2013/14.” Lankan Rupee’s 2013/14 season culminated with a scintillating victory in the Group 1 T J Smith Stakes (1200m) at Randwick which yielded an impressive new master Timeform rating for the gelding of 132. The wayward three-year-old we saw during the previous season became a distant memory when Lankan Rupee returned as a gelding following his winter spell. Lankan Rupee proceeded to win seven of his eight starts during 2013/14 with a case of the thumps during the spring the only thing preventing an unbeaten season. He completed a meteoric rise to stardom during the autumn when claiming the Oakleigh Plate-Newmarket Handicap- T J Smith treble. The four-year-old is the only racehorse to have ever achieved such a feat. Putting the accomplishment into perspective, Lankan Rupee is the lone horse to have achieved the Oakleigh Plate-T J Smith double. Thanks to his and Black Caviar’s successes in the event over the past four years, the T J Smith Stakes is the only event since Timeform ratings were used in Australia to have yielded a winning figure of 130+ during three occasions over such a short period of time. Proper management of Lankan Rupee could result in the gelding gracing both Australian and international race tracks for years to come. That in itself is something worth looking forward to in season 2014/15. 9 Timeform Review continued… Australian Timeform ratings 2014 season as at July 1, 2014 Timeform Ratings – 2yo Rank Horse Timeform Ratings – 3yo PR TFE Rank Horse TFE Earthquake 2F Exceed And Excel (AUS)-Cataclysm (AUS) (Marauding (NZ)) PETER SNOWDEN $1,556,200 119 1 Shamus Award 3C Snitzel (AUS)-Sunset Express (AUS) (Success Express (USA)) DANNY O’BRIEN $2,364,600 124 Mossfun 2F Mossman (AUS)-Eye For Fun (AUS) (Snitzel (AUS)) MICHAEL & WAYNE & JOHN HAWKES $2,480,500 119 2 Polanski 3C Rakti (GB)-Citrium (AUS) (Citidancer (IRE)) ROBBIE LAING $1,082,500 123 Rubick 2C Encosta De Lago (AUS)-Sliding Cube (AUS) (Rock Of Gibraltar (IRE)) GERALD RYAN $184,500 119 3 Complacent 3C Authorized (IRE)-Insouciance (AUS) (Quest For Fame (GB)) PETER SNOWDEN $648,000 122 4 Jabali 2C Exceed And Excel (AUS)-Balalaika (AUS) (King Of Kings (IRE)) MICK PRICE $231,600 118 ? Since preparing that article news of further retirements has come through so in this issue we briefly profile five other newcomers, among them another two Group 1 winners, Shamus Award and The Factor. Bay horse, 2009 fee $8,800 (inc. GST) ALBRECHT Standing at Darley, Aberdeen We often refer to “sire making races” but one seldom given the credit it deserves is Sydney’s Group 3 Up and Coming Stakes (1300m) for spring three-year-olds, traditionally run at Warwick Farm. Champion sire Marscay won it in 1982 but since 1997 the impressive list of winners includes such stallions as General Nediym, Testa Rossa, Zariz, Snowland, Exceed and Excel (champion sire), Fastnet Rock (champion sire) and Snitzel. Albrecht captured the Up and Coming in 2012 and among his five stakes placings were a close second to stablemate Epaulette in the Group 1 Golden Rose and a Redoute’s Choice O’Giselle NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 third to Buffering and Spirit of Boom in the BRC Victory Stakes. Eurozone raced only 10 times as a two-year-old and as a three-year-old but proved himself to be top class. He was unbeaten at his only two starts as a juvenile in Sydney before taking on the best of his age in feature races in Sydney and Melbourne at three. In Sydney he won the ATC Rosebud Handicap (1200m) at Randwick, defeating later Group 1 winner Dissident, then the 1500m Stan Fox Stakes, beating subsequent Australian Derby and Rosehill Guineas winner Criterion. Eurozone’s performance against top grade older horses when second to Moment of Change in the MRC C.F. Orr Stakes (1400m, Caulfield) was exceptional and his third in the ATC Royal Randwick Guineas behind Dissident again emphasised his great ability. A three-quarter brother to Miss Marielle (STC Hill Stakes, AJC Craven Plate, etc), Eurozone is one of five runners produced by his dam Miss Vandal, winner of the WATC Sires’ Produce Stakes and three other races. Behind him that day were Snitzerland, Sizzling and another horse named Lankan Rupee so it was a hot field. A winner over 1100m at Canterbury, Knight Exemplar also won a Maiden at Gosford and registered five placings in Sydney in just 14 starts, one a second to subsequent Group 1 winner Rebel Dane. As a grandson of Danehill, Knight Exemplar comes from the most dominant male line of our time and this son of champion sire Exceed and Excel, also a leading sire in Europe, is bred along similar lines to champion sire Fastnet Rock, both from the Danehill male line out of Royal Academy mares. Knight Exemplar’s mother Charmview was a talented performer, winning the Winter Stakes in Brisbane plus races in Melbourne and Sydney. Charmview is a half-sister to Grandiser, a black type winner in California and a three times winner in Sydney, and she is closely related to Shiva’s Revenge, winner of the South Australian Derby, VRC Blamey Stakes and VRC St. Leger and remembered for his second to Let’s Elope in the 1991 Melbourne Cup. Cosmic Endeavour (T.Berry) triumphs in Brisbane. These world renowned studs offer breeders a stunning selection of top quality stallions and are also important suppliers of superbly related yearlings offered at auction sales around Australia. While the big operators generate most of the industry’s glamour, we must also acknowledge the important contribution of a legion of smaller breeders – those with small numbers of mares compared to the 18 big players – in supplying more than their share of feature race winners and good city winners every season. If you look just at results for the 2013/14 season which concluded on July 31 consider the Group 1 winners produced by NSW-based smaller breeders – Atlantic Jewel, Cosmic Endeavour, Diamond Drille, Driefontein, Mossfun, Peggy Jean, Rebel Dane, Red Tracer, Shamus Award, Steps in Time and Streama – a very impressive list. Longtime TBNSW member Mrs. Catherine Remond deserves special credit for her achievements which were spotlighted when Cosmic Endeavour (Northern Meteor – Crevette, by Danehill) captured the season’s final Group 1 feature, Tattersalls Tiara, in Brisbane on June 21. This filly comes from a family Catherine Remond has developed Smaller breeders’ contribution Great sprinter Schillaci powers home in a Melbourne win. over several generations since the 1980s and also represents a part of the continuing legacy left by Mrs Remond’s late father, Stanley Wootton, whose influence on breeding in Australia since World War II is immense and will never be forgotten. forgotten when his first two-year-olds came out running. Star Kingdom headed the Australian general sires’ list five times, was six times champion sire of two-year-olds and made the Golden Slipper his own, being sire of the first five winners. Catherine Remond bred and raced Cosmic Endeavour’s stakeswinning dam Crevette and her dam, the high class Twig Moss mare Twiglet, whose other foals include Group 1 – winning sprinter Easy Rocking, a successful sire in Queensland, and Crevette’s brother, Fairy King Prawn, twice Horse of the Year in Hong Kong and a winner of 12 races there and in Japan, among them five at Group 1 level. Todman, winner of the first Golden Slipper in 1957 by a huge margin and later an outstanding sire, was regarded as his sire’s best racing son and was another star bred and raced by Stanley Wootton along with his underestimated full brother Noholme, winner as a three-year-old of an Epsom and a Cox Plate before export to the USA where he became a top sire and helped to spread Star Kingdom’s blood to many parts of the world. Twiglet is out of stakes placed Extradite, bred by Mrs Remond’s father and a daughter of perhaps the most influential horse he bred, three times champion sire Bletchingly, himself one of the fastest horses of his time and, in turn, a son of the even more brilliant Biscay, also bred and raced by Stanley Wootton. Biscay is considered by many as the most influential among a number of excellent sire sons of the highly performed Wootton import Star Kingdom, criticised for his lack of height when he first arrived at Baramul Stud in the Widden Valley, criticism soon NSW BREEDERS’ UPDATE WINTER 2014 Stakes placed Shifnal, a speedy brother to Todman and Noholme, became a leading sire of two-year-olds and sprinters in New Zealand while another brother, Faringdon, also achieved some success as a sire in NSW. Sanley Wootton also brought to Australia several other stallions which had a lasting impact on our breeding industry, notably Makarpura and Newtown Wonder, as well as a number of mares destined to produce important winners and establish successful female lines. Yet another Group 1 winner and useful sire bred and raced by Stanley Wootton was Star of Heaven, a name you will find in the breeding background of exciting new NSW sire Zoustar. Catherine Remond has done a wonderful job of continuing her late father’s legacy to Australian racing and breeding and her policy of maintaining a small band of quality mares and mating them with the best and most promising sires of the day has resulted in many good winners and is an example for all smaller breeders to follow in seeking success both on the track and in the sale ring. While Mrs Remond has bred a number of black type winners the honour of rating highest on the list must go to brilliant grey Schillaci (1988). By Salieri, Schillaci was out of AJC Widden Stakes winner Biscarina (by Biscay from Blue Diamond Stakes winner Forina, by Vibrant), a Wootton-bred mare as were her dam and grandam Tobalina (Todman – Ballina). Between 1992 and 1995 Schillaci won 15 stakes events, most notably eight Group 1s: VRC Newmarket Handicap, VRC Lightning Stakes (twice), VATC Futurity Stakes (twice), VATC Oakleigh Plate, AJC The Galaxy and STC George Ryder Stakes. Catherine Remond may never breed one better than Schillaci but it can be guaranteed there are more good winners in the pipeline of her select breeding operation. 19 Black Type Honor Roll Black Type Honor Roll Congratulations to the NSW breeders of Australian stakeswinners from 28 April to 6 July 2014 Mr M J Abdallah Avoid Lightning June Stakes Listed Blevic-Ya Michelle (Success Express) Arrowfield Group Pty Ltd, Klawervlei Stud Time For War BRC Sires Produce Stakes 2 Snitzel-Lady Zabelia (Zabeel) Arrowfield Pastoral Pty Ltd & Planette Thoroughbred, Belford Productions Moonovermanhattan National Stakes 3 Manhattan Rain-Lunaspur (Flying Spur) Mr G Briscoe Testarhythm Ortensia Stakes Listed Testa Rossa-Dancing Bridges (Danske) Bromley Bloodstock Ltd Kingdoms Qld Tattersall’s RC Open Mile Listed High Chaparral-A Real Princess (O’Reilly) Brook Pastoral Pty Ltd Streama Doomben Cup 1 Stratum-Pensiamo (Sovereign Red) Streama A D Hollindale Stakes 2 Stratum-Pensiamo (Sovereign Red) Central Pastoral Group Alma’s Fury Eyeliner Stakes Listed Refuse to Bend-Dance Attendance (What A Guest) Alma’s Fury Glasshouse Handicap Listed Refuse to Bend-Dance Attendance (What A Guest) Mr E Conjuangco Sports Edition Hampden Stakes Listed Northern Meteor-Newscaster (Marscay) Mr I Cornell Pure Purrfection Bribie Handicap Listed General Nediym-She’s Purring (Flying Spur) Darley Sonntag Queensland Derby 1 Teofilo-Parfaits (Strategic) Aerobatics Hawkesbury Darley Crown 3 Exceed and Excel-Grilse (Rahy) Seaside Dark Jewel Classic 3 Redoute’s Choice-Living Spirit (Hennessy) Cameo Scone Cup Listed Shamardal-Portrait of a Lady (A.P.Indy) Generalife Civic Stakes Listed Lonhro-Albaicin (Redoute’s Choice) Reparations Thoroughbred Club Cub Listed Exceed and Excel-Hold To Ransom (Red Ransom) Mr S Doughty Eastern Prince Queensland Day Stakes Listed Dubawi-My Name is Luka (Marauding) Emirates Park Pty Ltd Almalad J.J.
