YUG SPORT is the main sports facility where the athletes of Team Russia are training while getting
prepared for important international competitions.
YUG SPORT provides the most comfortable and convenient conditions for efficient training sessions
of Team Russia.
YUG SPORT is the only sports facility in the south of Russia, which is a subordinate of the Ministry of
Sport of the Russian Federation.
GUESTS OF YUG SPORT
YUG SPORT has been visited by: President of the Russian
Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian
Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian Minister of sport
Vitaly Mutko, the UEFA President Michel Platini, the FIFA
President Joseph Blatter and many other representatives of
the political and sports establishment.
Olympic Champions, such as Evgeni Plushenko, Alexey
Voevoda, Victor Ahn and others have been to YUG SPORT for
training and on social visits.
YUG SPORT operates the Olympic venues that are
located in the Olympic park: the Iceberg Skating
Palace and the Training center for figure skating
and short track.
The Russki Gorki ski jumping center in Krasnaya
Polyana is also under the supervision of YUG SPORT.
YUG SPORT has a branch in Kislovodsk, which
combines the upper (mountain cluster) and lower
(foothill cluster) sport centers.
The main facility of YUG SPORT is located in the central part of
Sochi, right on the coast of the Black sea.

THE RUSSKI GORKI SKI JUMPING CENTER
The Russki Gorki ski jumping center is situated on the Northern hillside of the
Aibga mountain. This location was selected by the international experts to make
ski jumpers protected from the winds.
• The facility consists of the K-95 and K-125
modern Olympic ski jumps.
• The facility is equipped with the up-to-date
German trail-freezing technology.
• The landing hill is covered with the Finnish
artificial surface that allows jumping in
summer and autumn.

The ski jumps are certified by FIS. This enables conducting sport events of the
international level.
•
The facility seats up to 6,000 spectators.
THE NORDIC COMBINED TRACK
The Nordic combined track was laid on a mountain slope, next to the ski jumping
center. Its start and finish zones are arranged in the outrun area of the ski jumps.
The track length is 2.5 km, its width is up to 9 meters, height difference of 40-50 m.
ACCOMMODATION
The Calypso hotel is located in the central part of the Krasnaya
Polyana village within a 15-minute walking distance from the
Gornaya Karusel cableway.
It is a four-storeyed building with 64 comfortable standard
rooms and suits. Each room is equipped with modern furniture,
air-conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, a safe deposit
box and a hairdryer.
The restaurant serves 3 buffet meals a day.
The hotel has a great location being situated next to the
shopping center and the water park.
The distance from the hotel to the ski jumping center is
800 m.
