BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort, located in Coffs Harbour on the mid north coast of
NSW is the ideal venue for your special day. Situated on absolute beachfront and set
amongst 15 acres of sub tropical gardens you have the option of a gorgeous beachside
wedding on our manicured lawns or have your toes in the sand.

Located beside the Resort Lagoon our
Cedar Chapel is simple and elegant.
Daylight streams through glass
windows creating an intimate and
romantic mood. For a more tranquil
setting by the stone fountain, the
Chapel courtyard offers stunning photo
opportunities.
Located directly in front of the resort is
Diggers Beach. Choose to say "I Do"
with your toes in the sand or on our
manicured Beachside Lawns.
When booking your ceremony, your
wedding coordinator will advise what
times are available. It is a requirement
that all wedding ceremonies held on the
Beachside Lawns or in the Resort
Chapel are booked a minimum of 2
hours a part to ensure allocated time for
theming set-up, pack down, family
photos and for the wedding party to
move on to their allocated pre
reception area.

The air-conditioned chapel includes
white silk pew ties, silk white roses and
candles on the wooden altar, CD player
with iPod capability, white clothed
signing table and two chairs.
Your ceremony time will be confirmed
by your wedding coordinator to Coffs
Harbour City Council and a small fee
applies. Paperwork will be received
within 2 weeks after confirmation is
issued.
The Resort will supply a signing table
for your ceremony and all additional
theming can be arranged via a theming
company. Please refer to our preferred
wedding suppliers list within this
wedding kit.

views, this venue will allow you to bring
the beach to your reception.
Modern and fresh, this venue is elevated
over our lagoon with stunning beach
views. Glass Constantine doors open
onto a wooden deck, ideal for dancing
and for guests to mingle throughout
your reception.
Our largest wedding venue, the Lagoon
Room features dramatic high ceilings,
natural light, a courtyard, double door
entrance & reverse cycle air
conditioning.
The Norman James Room is the ideal
venue for smaller receptions and
outdoor cocktail style weddings.

is a spectacular venue with an intimate
dining feel.
The beautiful natural wooden floors and
exposed beam ceiling creates a natural
and warm mood in this one of a kind
venue. Glass doors expand open on
both levels to bring the outdoors in and
showcase the absolute beach views.
If the emphasis is firmly on making the
facility feel like your own, then Aanuka
is the perfect place.
Ideal for a lunch time reception, seat

Lunch receptions are a fantastic idea for
a more relaxed setting for your special
day. All our venues are available for
lunch receptions.
Enjoy the gorgeous Coffs Harbour
weather in our Winter months, with a
Winter wedding.
Midweek weddings at Aanuka are
becoming more and more popular.
Access to all venues for lunch
receptions is between 11:30am to
4:30pm. Extension fees apply after
4:30pm charged at $100 for every hour
or part thereof.

Site Inspection
We trust the information in our wedding
kit has assisted you further with your
wedding plans. If you are interested in
viewing the resort and venues, please
feel free to contact us directly to
arrange a time for a site inspection.
One of our wedding coordinators will
meet with you and go over your plans
for the big day followed by a guided
walk through the venues and ceremony
areas.

You are more than welcome to come
alone, or bring members of your family
and bridal party. We recommend
allowing 1 hour for your viewing to
ensure plenty of time for questions.

Tentative Bookings
& Cost Estimate
If you would like to look at different
options for your special day and
compare packages, ask your wedding
coordinator for a cost estimate. This will
outline all your charges, based on
minimum or maximum numbers.
Booking Your Wedding
Once you have decided that you are
ready to confirm your wedding at
BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort your
coordinator will prepare your wedding
agreement.
The cost estimate will be valid for 14
days and is usually also combined with
a tentative hold for your preferred
wedding date, ceremony time & venue.
This will be issued via email or posted
to you with 14 days to return, signed
along with a 25% deposit of the total
estimated charges. Once received; your
wedding will be confirmed in the resort
system.
Please note that the resort elects to hire
security to be present at your venue
and the surrounding resort perimeter
from 9pm until the conclusion of your
event, a small fee of $200.00 will be
included in your cost estimate and final
costings.
Your wedding coordinator will be with
you every step of the way, answering all
the questions you may have prior to
booking and when finalising your
wedding details right up until the time
you walk into your wedding reception
as Mr and Mrs!
