A History of Quality
League Manufacturing has been making shipping crates since the 1920’s. Taking our
decades of experience, we developed the Quick-Crate collapsible, reusable shipping
crate. Since then we have produced over 10,000 boxes for automotive, aerospace,
military, robotics, agriculture, and many other unique applications.
Simplicity & Strength
Quick-Crates are constructed with 3/4” plywood and held firmly together with springsteel clips. No screws, nails, or metal banding
needed. The pallet blocks are thru-bolted to
the base for longevity and many customers
have reported 50+ shipping cycles with only
minimal cosmetic damage. They have also
been certified by the military to hold 4,000
lbs of live ammunition and stack 3 high. A
stacking capacity of 12,000 lbs!

Collapsibility
Since Quick-Crates collapse flat to approx.
20% of set-up height, many more crates
can be shipped in one truck, rail car or sea
container, reducing fuel cost and greenhouse gas emission per crate. This also
allows crates to travel at a NMFC freight
class 50 which reduces freight charges.

At our facility in Greenville, SC we have 3 highefficiency CNC routers that allow us to machine to
tolerances of +-.005”. Our machines and manufacturing
process are extremely efficient which gives us the
ablility to produce hundreds of Quick-Crates a week.
Environmentally Friendly
& Reusable
Quick-Crates are designed to be
used many times versus traditional crates, which are used only
once and then discarded. Our
crates minimize impact on landfills, as well as eliminate disposal
costs. In addition, all of our plywood is harvested
from managed forests, a renewable resource.
ISPM-15 Compliant
ISPM requires heat treating for solid wood packaging
being exported, to reduce insect infestation. But they
only regulate solid wood products over 1/4” thick. At
Quick-Crate we use only plywood and OSB, so our
crates are exempt from these regulations and are fully
ISPM-15 export compliant.

One-Way Shipping
Just as the reusable system is designed around durability, the one-way system is designed for economy. The
one-way crates feature ¾” OSB (oriented strand board)
material for the sides, ends and tops and the pallet
blocks and stringers are nailed.
The one-way crate still has amazing strength, is fully collapsible
and is ISPM-15 export compliant
but OSB is not as durable as
plywood. In most cases, the
one-way crates cost about 30%
less than the reusable crates.
