What is the Lone Star Express?

High quality, realistic-looking trackless trains are a relatively new attraction to the
United States, having grown in popularity in Europe and Latin America first. These are
not cheap barrel trains or small, boring kiddie trains on tracks that run in a short loop at
the carnival. This is the type of train every child dreams of riding!
The Lone Star Express is an outdoor trackless train ride made by True American Classics,
a U.S. company internationally recognized for their quality, safety and opulent detail
and design. (They have sold trains to many major zoos, cities and theme parks, such as
SeaWorld).
Fashioned after the glorious steam train era locomotive, the American 4-4-0, our
beautiful train features:
 The latest digital audio technology with each train car outfitted with speakers
 A microphone for the engineer to make real-time announcements to the
passengers and to the surrounding crowd







The ability to play custom written stories for a unique and interactive train rides

Sponsoring feel-good, fun attractions has proven to be a winning combination for

sales. Offering a fun, safe and creative train ride outside of the usual carnival rides to

1. Be a Part of the Story!
The Lone Star Express will be featuring a custom story during each train ride sure to
entertain and delight our riders. This is both an opportunity to entertain and to promote
your brand and product! For example, at the historic Main Plaza Silver Bells event in San
Antonio, we played the story, The Christmas Armadillo, incorporating the Main Plaza
into the story. It was a huge hit!

The best part? Our stories are interactive; at the end, we will announce that our story
characters are hidden at YOUR BOOTH OR DISPLAY (or wherever you prefer) and our
riders will be given the fun task to find them. This would bring happy and engaged
customers back to you for an additional opportunity to market to them or promote your
business!
2. Give Out Train Tickets!
The possibilities are endless how to
leverage customer interaction with a free
train ride.
You can offer free train tickets when a
customer makes a purchase, when they
fill out a form, take a tour—or just
because you’re awesome!
We can print up custom tickets with your brand and company information for each rider
to take as a keepsake, and make the ticket interactive with a special page on your
website to gather more valuable information or market to them a second time!
3. Hand Out Valuable Coupons for Train Rides!
If you are on-site at the event for selling or marketing purposes, we can provide you
with unlimited $1 off coupons to hand out to your visitors, and our signs will direct them
to the place where they can get coupons—your booth. This will bring a substantial

If you partner with us, we will print your company name and logo on all our signs

About Our Crew
Lone Star Trackless Trains is a family-owned and operated business from Seguin, Texas
(a small town on the Guadalupe River just outside of San Antonio).
Our train engineer is a former electrical and mechanical engineer, having worked for the
top high-tech companies in the world. And his wife, Melanie, is a writer and train
enthusiast, with a background in Texas state politics.
Their dedication to excellence, safety, and creative and old-fashioned fun makes their
train attraction a huge hit!
