AUDIO TAPE TRANSFERS TO CD
MOTION PICTURE FILMS TO DVD
State of the art transfers from movie film directly to DVD.
Our ‘cold light’ capture process does not project your
film in the conventional sense, and yields superior results. Your movie reels will be transferred in the order
you present them. All films are cleaned and lubricated,
and small reels are spliced onto larger reels. Any notes
and individual boxes are returned. All transfers are done
with the least digital compression (60 minutes per DVD)
for the best results.
DIGITAL STILL FILES TO DVD SLIDE SHOW
CD transfers are available from audio cassettes, microcassettes or open reel-to-reel tape. Only non-copyrighted, non-commercial audio will be transferred. Each tape
side is transferred as a single track on the CD. Audio
tape can be transferred to .mp3 files instead at the same
price.

8 film was introduced in 1965. Only Super 8 was available with sound. Small 3” diameter reels run approximately 4 minutes, so a one-hour DVD would use 16-18
reels.

16mm MOVIES TO DVD
16mm film was introduced in 1923 as an amateur film
format, but was also used extensively for commercial
and educational purposes. 16mm uses twice the footage as 8mm for the same projection time.

BEST QUALITY TRANSFERS
Our premium tape to DVD transfer process gives
you the best on-screen image quality. There is a
one-hour time limit per DVD, which is the setting for
least digital compression. We can combine tapes
to get to the one-hour limit if your tapes are not full,
and/or sequence tapes in order for best continuity.
This service includes editing out blank areas, blue
screen, TV shows, and lens-cap-on segments.
There is a nice menu function with video chapter
previews, and packaging which shows thumbnail
pictures of the various scenes. The price per DVD
is $60 up to 60 minutes and $45 up to 30 minutes.
Additional copies made at the same time are $20.

ECONOMY TRANSFERS
Direct Copy no-frills transfers are basic copies with
fewer features. There is no editing done and no
menu system. The transfer is done at a much higher compression rate, allowing for 2 hours recording time, but reducing image quality. This service is
for one tape to one DVD only. We cannot combine
tapes. The price per DVD is $35 for up to 2 hours.
Additional copies made at the same time are $20.
