The recipient of the National Military Family Association’s Military Family of the Year will also receive a cash prize of $1,000.
Kellogg’s and Keebler support “united through reading”: Research has shown that reading together unites families.
This is the mission of the “United through Reading” military program. The program brings military families, who are separated by
deployment, together by having them read aloud to their children using visual and sound media recorded on a DVD. Participation
boosts family morale and strengthens relationships between adults and children while teaching the joy of reading. To learn more
about the “United through Reading” military program, please go to www.unitedthroughreading.org.
In promotional period #20, the Kellogg’s Company has put together a promotion to create awareness and excitement about this
tremendous program. The top 100 commissary stores will participate in product demonstrations where patrons can receive a free
book with the purchase of any two Kellogg’s or Keebler items. For every two products purchased, the Kellogg’s Company will
donate $1.00 to the “United through Reading” military program. Informational brochures explaining the program will be
handed out along with coupons on favorite Kellogg’s and Keebler brands. Kellogg’s will offer a complete package of high
volume brands at great savings to complete the package.
So, please help military families become united through reading and find great savings on their favorite breakfast and snack items.
Please build great promotional displays of Kellogg’s and Keebler products in promotional period #20. Your local Sarvis sales
representative will contact each of you with all the details.
