2: Install a Restrictor on one “Hydro Line, Driver” hose assembly, than a Male Ag Coupler onto
each hose assembly. Use TFE paste on pipe thread.
3: Install two 1/4” JIC Elbows onto the 1/4” JIC Bulkhead fittings. Loosen the Beta Clamp and
install two “Line, Dist Block to Bulkhead LG” hose assemblies onto the 1/4” JIC Elbows.
4: Install two 1/4” Male JIC x 1/2” Male NPTF 90 Elbow fittings onto “Line, Dist Block to
Bulkhead LG” hose assemblies. Install two Male Ag Couplers onto 1/4” Male JIC x 1/2” Male
NPTF 90 Elbow. Use TFE paste on pipe thread.
5: Tighten Beta Clamp and all loose hydraulic fittings.
STEP 2:
Place a 2x4 board under plow pivot
frame. This will give you the
elevation needed for a quick attach.
Lay the plow hydraulic lines over
the front of the plow to keep them
out of the way.

STEP 3:
Pull up the tractor until the Side Frame bushings are just above the plows Locking Pins. Enable
float for the hydraulic system, by pushing the joystick forward with the engine off. Manually
extend the Lift Cylinder to the plow pivot frame and insert the Hitch Pin.
STEP 4:
1: Route two “Hydro Line, Driver” hose assemblies over the front plate of the JD 4720 Front
Mount, under the tractor frame, through the Hose Hoop Bracket and into the tractors remaining
two mid hydraulic ports.
2: Route two “Line, Dist Block to Bulkhead LG” hose assemblies through the Hose Hoop
Bracket, over the tractors rear axle and into the hydraulic ports in the rear of the tractor. Secure if
needed with zip ties.

STEP 5:
1: Disable float for the hydraulic system by moving the joystick back to its normal position. Pull
out and latch both Locking Pins.
2: Slowly retract the Lift Cylinder to raise the plow’s pivot frame. Unlatch the Locking Pins once
they can bottom out on the Side Frames.
3: Continue to raise the pivot frame and the Locking Pins will snap into the Side Frame bushings
at this point. This plate and tubing act as a guide. As long as they are touching, all you have to
control is the height of the pivot frame, in order to achieve a guided latching process.
