Machine Automation Technologies was founded in 1989 and introduced its first CNC
routers in the early 1990s. The machines were marketed under the MultiCam brand
and the name became so popular, we soon renamed the company MultiCam! New
markets for MultiCam CNC routers emerged quickly and in 1995, the MultiCam 48CSG was introduced at the AWFS show in California. It was a heavy duty, multiplespindle machine ideal for high-volume production of wood parts and was well received
by the industry. The rest is history. The woodworking industry has become one of the
most important markets for MultiCam CNC routers worldwide.
Through the years, we have continued to provide innovative solutions to the woodworking
industry and the introduction of the PRO series machines in 1997 brought affordable
automatic tool changing and made multi-tool, 3-dimensional carving a real possibility
for the woodworking industry. Our bar-code scanning interface also helped automate the
workflow for production cabinet shops, and our EZ Control system brought a new level
of simplicity and functionality to the CNC machine operator.

EZ CONTROL
The MultiCam EZ Control™ is at the heart of every MultiCam cutting
solution. Incorporating state-of-the-art CNC computer technology, EZ
Control features an incredibly easy-to-use, human-machine interface
that separates it from the competition. EZ Control utilizes the existing
workforce and eliminates the need for operators to be G-Code literate.

MultiCam high-pressure waterjet machining systems offer unique advantages over
other cutting technologies. Waterjets are able to cut virtually any material with a high
degree of accuracy and without heat. Abrasive waterjets introduce garnet into the
cutting stream and produce a “sanded” edge when cutting metal or stone. The edge
finish is very attractive, requires no clean-up, and makes the waterjet an ideal machine
for cutting granite, marble or engineered stone countertops, stainless steel kitchen
components as well aluminum and mild steel projects. The kerf is also very small,
allowing detailed parts to be cut. MultiCam is proud to partner exclusively with KMT,

by implementing a dedicated network of regionally based offices with full sales,
