We are touched each year by the desire of the surrounding community to “bring Christmas” to the halls of Goodwill and to the hearts of our residents and staff. Thank you to all who have blessed us in so many ways this Christmas season! Christmas Preparations A Christmas Bazaar was enjoyed by residents, staff, and local venders. Thank you to all who were involved in bringing this event to Goodwill! Family members, Staff, Youth from local schools and churches decorated the resident’s doors for all to enjoy. Thanks Santa for the visit! Some seemed to think that Santa looked very familiar. Santa & his helper took a break to enjoy some special harmonica music by Alina. A special thanks to our friends from Springs Mennonite Church who sponsored the annual Christmas Party providing gifts for all the residents and food for residents and staff. Hubert Friend, our senior resident at 104 years old, celebrated with his daughter. His lighted hat and singing tie brought smiles and laughter to staff and residents. Singing Christmas Carols brought back pleasant memories to Gypsy Lane as she sang and cuddled her baby by candle light. Santa’s visit was not only enjoyed by residents but also staff. Even Dr. Bissell got a hug from Santa! Students from the Northern HS FFA brought red & white poinsettias to share with the residents of Goodwill. The plant were grown by the students. Welcome to the addition to the Goodwill Family! Residents of the Village are invited to a luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, January 26th hosted by Jo Ennis.
