From the Archives by Chuck Rand Field Hockey Game against Freeport High School, October 1981 Thirty four years ago, Lisa Nollet, Waynflete's coach, wrote on page 5 of the November 1981 issue of The Waynflete News "The varsity field hockey squad displayed a tremendous amount of spirit and enthusiasm this year. The team won 4 games, a record much improved over that of last year. Captaincy was shared among the three seniors, Julie Jones, Elena Robinson and Margo Walsh, who will surely be missed next year. The large number of starting freshmen, who will be back next fall, will continue the team's good record." Waynflete | 360 Spring Street | Portland, ME 04102 | 207.774.5721
