This guide presents the basic steps to set up this device. For detailed instructions and specifications,
refer to the user manual on the CD enclosed with this product or at manhattan-products.com.
1. With the device connected to your computer and media source (A), the Found New Hardware
Wizard displays a Welcome screen. Click Cancel to continue.
2. Insert the included driver/software CD. When the initial menu displays, click Driver Install or run
Driver\Setup.exe.
3.On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install. Note: If one or more Windows Security
prompts appear during the Status updates, click Install or Continue Anyway.
4. On the driver’s Complete screen, click Finish.
5. On the menu, click Software Install or run EZ Grabber\Setup.exe.
6. On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install.
7. On the application’s Complete screen, click Finish.
8. On the menu, click Honestech VHS to DVD or run VHS2DVD\Setup.exe.
9. On the Choose Setup Language screen, select a language and click Next.
10.On the License Agreement screen, select “I accept...” and click Next.
11.On the Choose Destination Location screen, click Next.
12.On the Honestech Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install.
13.On the Honestech Complete screen, click Finish.
14.On the menu, click Users Guide.
15. In the directory, open the “HTVideoToDVD” file, then click Using the honestech VHS to DVD 2.5
to display the Instructions options.
16.On the menu, click Utility if you don’t already have DirectX 9.0 or higher on your computer.
Note: This is required to operate the device.
17.In the directory, open the “DirectX” file to install it.
The EZ Grabber and Honestech icons (B) should display on the desktop. Launch either program to
display the corresponding on-screen interface. For details about using the on-screen interfaces to
operate the Grabber, refer to the user manual on the CD or online at manhattan-products.com.

Diese Kurzanleitung zeigt die grundlegenden Schritte zur Einrichtung dieses Geräts. Für genauere

1. Wenn das Gerät an Ihren PC und die Medienquelle angeschlossen ist (A), startet der Installations bildschirm. Klicken Sie auf Cancel.
2.Legen Sie die beiliegende Treiber-CD in Ihr Laufwerk. Wenn sich das Menü öffnet, klicken Sie auf
Driver Install oder starten Sie die Datei Driver\Setup.exe.
3. Klicken Sie im nächsten Schritt auf Install. Hinweis: Werden während der Installation Windows-
Sicherheitsfenster geöffnet, klicken Sie auf Install oder Continue anyway.
4. Im letzten Installationsschritt, klicken Sie auf Finish.
5. Im folgenden Menü klicken Sie auf Software Install oder starten Sie die Datei EZ Grabber\Setup.exe.
6. Im nächsten Schritt klicken Sie auf Install.
7. Nach Abschluss der Installation klicken Sie auf Finish.
8.Im Menü klicken Sie auf Honestech VHS to DVD oder starten Sie die Datei VHS2DVD\Setup.exe.
9. Wählen Sie eine Sprache und klicken Sie auf Next.
10. Stimmen Sie den Lizenzbestimmungen mit “I accept...” zu und klicken Sie auf Next.
11. Wählen Sie ein Zielverzeichnis aus und klicken Sie auf Next.
12. Klicken Sie im nächsten Schritt auf Install.
13. Im letzten Installationsschritt klicken Sie auf Finish.
14. Klicken Sie im Menü auf Users Guide.
15. Öffnen Sie im Verzeichnis die Datei “HTVideoToDVD”, klicken Sie dann auf Using the honestech VHS to
DVD 2.5, um die Anweisungsoptionen anzuzeigen.
16. Klicken Sie im Menü auf Utility, falls Sie nicht schon DirectX 9.0 oder höher installiert haben. Hinweis:

1. Po podłączeniu urządzenia do komputera pojawi (A) się systemowy Kreator znajdowania nowego
sprzętu. Wybierz Anuluj, aby kontynuować.
2. Umieść dołączoną płytę CD w napędzie CD/DVD komputera. Po wyświetleniu początkowego menu
wybierz Driver Install lub uruchom z zawartości płyty Driver\Setup.exe.

messaggio di benvenuto della procedura guidata per il nuovo hardware. Cliccare Cancella per continuare.
