Chip In for Autism AN EVENT OCTOBER 15, 2016 EUROFURNITURE 2145 W. GRAND AVENUE, CHICAGO, IL 60612 Autism affects 1 in 68 children in the U.S. S P O N S O R S H I P O P P O R T U N I T I E S Chip In for Autism AN EVENT On Saturday, October 15, 2016, the Chicagoland Chapter of Autism Speaks will host its inaugural Chip in for Autism, an evening of fun and games to be held at EuroFurniture in Chicago. Please join us for this glamorous and festive event highlighted by high-end food, cocktails, casino-style table games including Blackjack, Roulette and Craps, celebrity appearances and a silent auction. Over 300 guests are expected to celebrate our chapter and help us change the future for all who struggle with autism. Autism is a general term used to describe a group of developmental brain disorders caused by a combination of genetic and environmental influences. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by communication difficulties, social and behavioral challenges, and repetitive behaviors. An estimated 1 in 68 children in the U.S. is on the autism spectrum – a ten-fold increase in prevalence in 40 years. Autism affects over 3 million people in the United States and tens of millions worldwide. Autism Speaks is the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization and the Chicagoland Chapter is one of the first and strongest of its chapters. Chip in for Autism is our chapter’s inaugural casino-themed gala. Our goal for the event is to raise autism awareness and funds that can be used for local autism research and to provide resources to Chicago-area families in need. We hope you will join us at our Chip in for Autism event and ask that you consider becoming an event sponsor. Please see our website at ChipInForAutism.org for important information about sponsorship packages and opportunities, as well as additional information about ticket prices, VIP options and the chance to win a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, courtesy of Fields Jeep in Glenview.
