Note: Metal spikes will not be allowed in the 12 & under Team Representative - Recreation League “A” Volunteer as Team Representative! Do you know what the secret of a great team is? The Team Representative is! Team Reps are the driving forces behind all of the great teams. The main purpose of the Team Rep is to organize and delegate the actions of the team parents. The Team Rep is also the point of contact for information flow between the league and the teams. The Team Rep is the spirit of the team. As such, they get the parents involved and motivated. This may sound like a difficult challenge, the truth is, getting everyone involved and motivated is really quite simple and can be a lot of fun. The Team Rep can be the coach’s most valuable asset in motivating the team toward a successful and fun season. The Team Rep coordinates team snacks, plans the team’s parties and other gatherings. All of the items listed above are important. However, the one thing that is most important about being Team Rep is this: A Team Rep gets to know the people they are working with and will make lots of new friends. To volunteer to be a TEAM REPRESENTATIVE, call 817-685-1838 or [email protected] Parents and Community are actively involved in creating and supporting an environment that fosters positive athletic experiences for studentathletes. www.parksattexasstar.com Are you interested in coaching a team? Siblings will always play together, if they are in the same age division unless the parents request different teams. Players may register for the draw utilizing the “Buddy” system.
