TOTO is presenting its new versatile Shower System at this year’s ISH 2013. Featuring
innovative technologies like Water Pillar and Cascade Flow, this shower collection
transforms the everyday shower into a luxurious shower experience.
Modular multi-talents
The modular TOTO Shower System is compatible with all of the collections available from
the Japanese bathroom manufacturer. The individual components can be combined in
a wide variety of ways. Hand showers are available in various sizes, with either one or
three different types of spray. The overhead showers also come in different shapes and
sizes, along with other wall-mounted shower elements and, naturally, the concealed
mount faucets. Customers can select and combine the various components depending
on their personal preferences or the features in each collection.

Hand showers
The TOTO hand showers are available in two different sizes (120 mm and 150 mm ø) and
with either one or three different types of spray. What makes these hand-held units so

simply clicking a button. The regular spray aerates the water – a technology TOTO calls
Aerial Shower. This increases the volume of each individual drop of water, which decreases the amount of water consumed. The hand shower uses very little water. The 120 mm
hand shower only uses between 6.2 l and 6.4 l of water per minute with 3 bars of pressure
depending on the selected spray. The hand shower also offers the Cascade Flow and
Gyrostream sprays. Cascade Flow produces a broad stream of water reminiscent of a
small waterfall. Gyrostream is a massage function. The jets evenly pulsate the water as it
leaves the shower head to massage and invigorate the body.
Overhead showers
The overhead showers are available in round (300 mm ø) and square (300 mm x 300 mm)
versions and can be mounted on the ceiling or wall. They also aerate the water to boost
the volume of each droplet, making it seem as if far more water was being used. The water
falls in short, pulsating intervals, creating a comfortable and relaxing shower experience
while conserving water.
Last but not least, the shower collection features a ceiling-mounted 600 mm x 530 mm
overhead shower with three different types of spray: Water Pillar, Aerial Shower and
Gyrostream. With Water Pillar, a heavy, voluminous and even stream of water flows from
the shower head, gently enveloping the body like a second layer of skin without splashing.
It keeps the entire body comfortably warm throughout the shower.
Wall-mounted Gyrostream shower jets can be added to supplement the overhead and
hand showers for a therapeutic, stimulating massage function.
Thanks to its wide range of options, the new Shower System offers an ideal solution to
meet everyone’s shower preferences – from people who take quick, efficient showers to
those who enjoy a more luxurious experience.
