The comprehensive range of Christensen
core drilling rigs consists of 5 models to
suit the variety of surface core drilling
operations. The range strains from the
smallest rig that is a compact and maneuverable trailer-mounted rig, to larger
trailer/crawler and truck mounted rigs
ideal for deep hole exploration drilling.
The max drill capacity of the core drillking rigs varies from 610 meters to 2450
meters deep holes. Thanks to the variety
of the range the Christensen core drilling rigs can be used in almost any environment.
Christensen core drilling rigs have been
tried and tested for many years and have
proven to be reliable and highly productive core drilling rigs. Christensen core
drilling rigs are also designed to be safe
and user-friendly, features like moving
parts such as the rotation unit are protected by mesh guards and the core
drilling rigs are equipped with emergency stop buttons. The modern control
panel and the hydraulic jacks make the
core drilling rigs easy to use and simple
to maintain. The backbones of the Christensen core drilling rigs are the strong

causing detrimental effects on the environmnent. For example, the rotation
units and moving parts are protected
by metal mesh guards. There are two
emergency stop buttons. Extra working lights for night work are standard as
are thread compensation for safer rod
changes. In fact, the Christensen core
drilling rigs surpass the rigorous stan-
dards laid down by the European safety
organization CE.
Boyles core drilling rigs
Boyles C8C core drilling rigs are easy to
operate, powerful with high-altitude capability.
They have a newly designed feed system that further improves the high productivity that has become a key characteristic of the Boyles rigs. Boyles has a
depth capacity of 1 830 m. The newly
designed level-wind wireline winch rolls
the wire evenly across the full width of
the drum.
The work environment around the rig
has been carefully considered during
development.
All major components are located to allow easy access during maintenance.
In order to control carbon emissions, the
rig features a modern Tier III engine.
The rig maintains its strong power and
high performance at high altitude, without the need for an additional high-altitude kit. The whole hydraulic system is
optimized to reduce the effects of low air
pressure in high altitude regions.

The Diamec range of core drilling rigs can be operated in a multitude of applications. They
can be used above or below ground, in traditional core drilling and in special applications
such as salt mines or even coal mines. And thanks to the choice of feed frames and rotation
units the rig can be adapted to customers needs.

Powerful and versatile
Diamec core drilling rigs are designed
for efficient drilling operations. The
range consists of 6 models with the max
drill capacity from 120m to 2000m deep
holes to suit different requirements.
They are ideal for underground core
drilling thanks to the compact design
that enables them to move in tight spaces with minimum disturbance. The modularized system of rig, power unit, flush
pump and control panel also, makes
them popular in surface operations.
Diamec core drilling rigs are equipped
with a unique positioner arm that makes
it possible to drill at any angle. The feed
frame of the rig uses a direct feed cylinder with “push equals pull” characteristics. The power units are powerful
and energy efficient, they are available
as electric or diesel. There are two different control systems available, Automated Performance Control (APC) which
is computer assisted or Pilot Hydraulic
Controls (PHC).
