Reveal the colours of nature
Reveal the colours of nature – Akutex™ FT colour collection Reveal the colours of nature – Akutex™ FT colour collection While developing this new colour collection, we approached a group of European interior designers, architects and textile designers, all of whom have inspired us in our choice of colours and their suitability for ceilings. The result is a captivating collection in which nature plays a major part. Nine carefully selected shades that bring to mind images of open meadows, summer sunshine, frosty winter mornings, rocks and sandy shores make up the collection: Reveal the colours of nature. The basis of the collection is the unique surface, Akutex FT. In addition to its superior acoustic properties, the surface is smooth with an attractive look. It is, in other words, a perfect base for these delightful colours. Nine colours, once source of inspiration Photographer: Patrick Klemm Pale Garden Pale Garden has been inspired by the early mist of an autumn morning. A light blue tone that creates a feeling of space and tranquillity in the room. Misty Rose The pale pink shades of a beautiful sunset gave the inspiration for Misty Rose.A mild, romantic colour that is both warm and inviting. Volcanic Dust A subtle, ash grey tone that frames the room perfectly. This smokey grey is based on the unique nature of a volcanic landscape. Vanilla Dream Vanilla Dream has been inspired by the creamy beige of vanilla. A shade reminiscent of summer-ripe fields basking in brilliant sunshine. Pure Olive Pure Olive is a shade inspired by the muted greens of olive leaves. A calm, powder-green tone that works perfectly as a mild, accent colour. Soft Slate A graphite grey tone to give the room a dramatic, stylish look. Inspired by bare, stony shores and rocky coastlines. Silent Sand Silent Sand brings to mind the image of untouched sand on a beach. A cool, light brown tone to give the room an elegant feel. Silver Shadow Inspired by early morning sun playing on the water. A shade that works well asa mild accent in the room. © Gettyimages White Frost White, sheer, smooth, stylish. A shade that conjures up an image of newly-fallen snow. Choosing a colour The way we perceive a colour depends on many things. The room’s lighting is important, as is the structure of painted surfaces. The planned colour can look quite different in daylight than in artificial light. How the light falls on the surface is also a factor. Akutex™ FT is a smooth surface that contributes to a visually harmonious feel while also providing several acoustic benefits. Akutex FT’s colour collection includes light, powdery nuances as well as darker, accent colours. This allows the creation of different impressions in the room. Light shades make the room seem bigger, while a dark tone creates a more intimate feel. Warm colours give an impression of cosiness, with cooler tones producing a calmer atmosphere. By combining the different shades or by creating separate fields of colour, there are endless possibilities for bringing a room to life. In Reveal the colours of nature we have made the most of this and can therefore offer cool as well as warm shades for combination to the best effect.
