Vice President/GM
As we begin a new year, I
would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each of you for your
contribution to our overall
success. I am so impressed by
the dedication and hard work
of our entire team. There is
no doubt, that because of
each of you, we are all privileged to be a part of what I
feel is the best transportation
company in the Rockies, I
would even say, in the country.
Because of the people here at
Brady Trucking, I can honestly
say that I never worry about
our competition taking a customer from us, based on service. That simply doesn’t happen. We may lose some
based on pricing from time to
time, but service quality, nor
the dedication of our group,
is ever the issue. For that, I
say, Thank you.
Well, 2013 is behind us.
What an interesting
year it turned out to be.
We started the year
fighting
tremendous
downward pricing pres-
sure. This really affected our
ability to generate any significant returns to the company.
However, we determined that
we would hold our ground and
sell our services based on the
quality that we bring to the
customer. By in large, this
strategy worked. Although we
gave up a small percentage of
our market share, we held our
pricing. It was our belief that
these customers would eventually come back to us, as our
competition either left the
market or found it too difficult
to continue to operate for no
profit.
Fortunately, we were proved
right. As we entered the middle of Q3, we began to see
customers demand increase,
and what had been downward
pricing pressure, began to stabilize and even reverse into
some gains in pricing.
The end result for 2013 was
that we salvaged a modest
return for the company, we
positioned ourselves in an
emerging market in the San
Juan basin, we strengthened
our presence in the Bakken
and San Juan, and began looking
into expansion plans for those
areas as well as some new geographic markets.
This brings us to 2014 and looking
forward. There is a renewed sense
of excitement in several market
areas. We are also looking at expansion into some new markets;
specifically the DJ Basin and
Northern Niobrara regions, as well
as the Southern Front range of
Colorado. Combine this with the
organic growth in Vernal, Farmington and Williston, and this looks to
be a great year.
28 new trucks have been ordered
and an additional 20+ will be ordered as needed. We have new
folks joining the team every day,
and new advancement opportunities are opening up in all locations.
It is a pleasure to work with each
of you and grow toward our stated
goal of reaching 250 units. We are
well on the way, and with each of
us pulling together, our mutual
success is guaranteed.
Thank you again for your efforts
and support. On behalf of the
Brady’s, Brady Trucking and myself, I wish you the very best in
2014.

Growth Opportunities
Sam Rendon
General Operations Manager
It's hard to believe 2013 is over.
Expansion into the Farmington
market and the development of
our of our hazardous materials group have been at the top of our priority list.
As a company we have started hauling Nitrogen transports for two of our Oil and Gas customers. This new development sparked the continuing talks of purchasing our own trailers,
storing nitrogen at our Farmington facility and the possibility of having as many as, 20 to 30
trucks dedicated to hauling nitrogen full time. While storage at our facility and Brady owned
N2 trailers has not yet happened, to date we are currently hauling from 4 to 14 Nitrogen
transports daily.
Brady Trucking is also diving head first into the acid transportation business. We have partnered with a national chemical company to offer storage at our Vernal, UT facility. This partnership is leading us into other markets and increasing our demand for qualified hazardous
materials drivers.
As exciting as all of this is, running a close second on our priority list is the potential expansion in all markets. We have a very real potential to reach 200 trucks in 2014. There are a
variety of opportunities that we are giving serious consideration, included in those is the
possibility of providing transportation for an international cement manufacture in southern
Colorado. In addition, the Front Range is another potential expansion for Brady Trucking.
There are possibilities in several key areas that make sense for the company overall. Our
current terminals and customers are offering exciting potential for
growth in the coming year. For example, a third crew in North Dakota for one customer, a crew for a new customer based out of
Williston, and several new customers in the fracking industry all
make sense for us to pursue. There is also potential for possible
expansion into the cement/road construction market as well as
other additional markets that we have yet to enter into.
2014 will be a very busy year for Brady Trucking and all its employees. I look forward to the challenges that come with this
growth.

Expanding Technology
Kris Weaver
IT Manager
Technology plays a vital role in the growth and development of any company today. With developed software systems and a sound infrastructure in place, we have been able to expand into other areas over the
last few years with very little growth in interoffice staff. This is a huge step to increase profitably for any
company. We have doubled our locations, centralized dispatch, added many more power units and have
continued a steady upward growth.
Every power unit has a Qualcomm system that integrates into the dispatch software saving hours of time
in vital communications with our drivers and across our inter office departments. Gone are the days of
pen and paper replaced with a more productive environment. The fleet maintenance software and accounting software are also fully integrated with dispatch and Qualcomm systems allowing staff to see at a
glance where all units in the fleet are both physically as well as economically. With electronic logs, electronic vehicle inspections, pm schedules, mileage reporting and financial reporting, senior management
can better analyze and determine which units are most profitable and which are not.

Resolutions
Frank Lopez
Safety Director
As we enter a New Year, it seems
like a good time to get back in
touch. When was the last time you
thought about the number of miles
you have driven without incident? Was it luck or was it because
of your skill and desire to get down
the road safely? In 2012 there was
112,908 CMV large truck crashes,
3,876 of those crashes resulted in a
fatality. Again, I ask. Were you
lucky or was it because of your skill
and desire to get down the road
safely? I pose this question now
because like all New Years, we all
make some sort of New Year’s Reso-
lution. Some, it may be to quit
smoking, others it may be to exercise more but why focus on just
one? I recommended before that
you make that choice for what your
New Year’s Resolution will be, get
back in touch with what you do for
a living and maybe consider, was I
lucky or do I have skill and desire to
get down the road safely? 2014 is
going to bring more work and more
miles down the road. So if you think
for a moment you just got lucky in
2013, then remember the only thing
that overcomes luck is hard work,
skill and preparation for the road
ahead. We look forward to working
with you in 2014. If we can help in
any way, please don’t hesitate to
contact myself or anyone of our
Safety Team Members.

Logistics Department
2013 has seen a lot of changes in our
Logistics Department, we have all of
the Dispatch centralized in Vernal
now as of the end of October this
year. With that said we have a lot of
new Dispatchers. Aside from Chad,
Dan and Myself we have a fairly new
dispatch team with 2 being here six
months and the rest being here 3
months or less. Our main focus has
been on training new dispatchers
and cross training them so there is
help in every area depending on the
volume of loads. With the constant

changes and increased volumes in
Farmington and Vernal we are working on having the right people in
position with enough training to
cover these areas with confidence.
We have an amazing set of Tools
with our TMS system and thanks to
Kris and Chuck we will be having a
TMS trainer here the first week of
February to help us learn more
about the system and use it to its
full potential. There are a lot of
loads with multiple moves setting
them up correctly will help invoicing
and dispatch follow the movements
Fleet Growth
Guy Kidd
Fleet Maintenance Manager
We’ve added Mike Torres to our
Farmington Division as the Shop Foreman. In Williston we recently added
Brian Skurupey as the Shop Foreman.
Both of these individuals have a great
background in the repair and maintenance fields.
We’re currently running 160 trucks, 9
for each load and insure they are
billed correctly.
Our goals for 2014 are to ensure
each dispatcher is trained and has
the knowledge to use our equipment and trucks to their full potential, with the business booming in
each area we want to stay a head of
the game and be ready for any and
all changes. We have a good group
and so we will be building a great
team. There is a lot to learn and
everyone is up to the challenge.
of which are owner operators. More
trucks are on order and are scheduled
to begin arriving the first week of February. These will to be the 2015 Model, 567 Peterbilt. We’re moving to this
model for many reasons including
driver comfort, such as wider cabs and
a sloped hood design for visibility.
They will also have wide base drive
tires which will lighten the truck by
400 pounds. This rolling resistance is
greater than the traditional dual tire
set up on the drive tires which allows
for better fuel mileage.
These types of trucks are what we
have to go with for the new generation. The days of blowing black smoke
are gone.

Administrators at their Best
Roger Wardell
Controller
First it may be well to define for everyone just who makes up the Brady
Trucking administrative group. This group includes invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, office managers and office assistants. Over the past year additional personnel were added at the Williston, Farmington, Vernal and Bloomington locations.
Some of these additions were necessary because of the invoicing requirements of one of our major customers, Halliburton. With the implementation of their TMS system the time to process each invoice increased substantially. Sometime in the first quarter of this year all of our remaining terminals will be on
this system.
Recently a Halliburton executive stated that Brady Trucking was one of the few vendors that understood
TMS and was using it correctly. This is a well-deserved compliment for both our invoicing and dispatch
personnel.
During 2013 over 38,000 invoices were sent to our customers. More than 4,500 payroll checks were issued and over 10,000 accounts payable transactions were processed.
As 2014 begins our goal is to maintain the same level of quality and service to Brady employees, vendors
and customers as in the past. With anticipated growth you are likely to see some new names and faces
appear in the admin team.
We will recognize one employee and/or family
member that is a veteran, active or retired military,
in each newsletter. If you want to be featured, contact Becky at 970-263-8791 ext 1114 for details.

Brady Trucking recognizes the sacrifice made by the spouses and families of our employees. We know that without
their support we could not get our jobs done to the highest degree of quality our customers have come to know and
expect. We want to recognize your families in a small way to let them know how much they mean to the Brady Trucking family.
Please provide us the birthdates and anniversaries of your family members.
