MKPL Architects commissioned us for a unique project in
Singapore called the Rail Corridor – Singapore’s version of the High
Line in New York City. Since its transfer of ownership to Singapore
in 2011, it is now a stretch of greenery – an oasis that connects
homes, businesses, parks, and schools in a high-density urban area.

Clients provide us with basic sketches, drawings, plans and/or
elevations in the format of Rhino, SketchUp, or AutoCAD. From
this information, we mass out the geometry, create the model in 3D,
and fill in the gaps.

At the development stage, we present our interpretation of our
client’s vision. We offer recommended views or camera angles, show
materials, placement of objects, preliminary lighting and textures.

Lighting, landscape, textures, and entourage are refined for the

Norm Li has provided imagery to many of Canada’s top
commercial developers and retail brands. We have provided imagery
in support of many significant commercial projects. These include
ongoing work with Cadillac Fairview on their $2 billion Quad Windsor
project in Montreal as well as their many mall properties across the country;
the entire South Core district that has sprouted up around the Air Canada
Centre in Toronto; the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey; and the
$1 billion renovation of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
We are the main supplier of architectural visualizations for Roots and
Holt Renfrew. In addition, we have provided visualization support for
organizations such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Lindt, Virgin Mobile,
Porsche, Audi, and a host of other major international brands.
Our work is tailored to each property or brand. The images address the
needs of each individual stakeholder on all sides of a deal.

Norm Li is frequently called on to handle the largest, most complex
infrastructure projects in Canada. In 2012, we teamed team up with
the Rideau Transit Group on the winning bid for Ottawa’s $2.13 billion
Confederation Line LRT. In 2014, we joined Crosslinx in the winning bid
for the $5.3 billion Eglinton Crosstown LRT in Toronto. The Eglinton
Crosstown package included 125 still renderings, and over 10,000 frames
of animation spanning eight months of close collaboration with our
partners. When it comes to infrastructure, no project is too big. Our
project list includes highways, airports, hydroelectric dams, waste disposal
facilities, national defense facilities, and emergency services stations.
