Caroline Seikaly is a designer of American-Lebanese
and French origin.
In 2006, she creates her own brand name and
designs ready-to-wear collections with a couture
touch, elegant and refined. Having grown up in
the United States, she studies fashion design at the
Rhode Island School of Design and collaborates with
Isaac Mizrahi in New York.
Upon graduating, she heads to Paris to gain
experience in Haute Couture with Christian Lacroix.
In 1999, she joins Karl Lagerfeld’s creative team and
participates in the development of Lagerfeld Gallery.
In 2006, the young designer decides to pursue her
passion and creates her own line of special dresses
that she presents every season at the New York
fashion week, and since 2010 in Paris.
Caroline’s style is reflected in her use of refined
fabrics such as silk and lace. She creates pieces
that are contemporary yet timeless, sophisticated yet
pure.
Caroline Seikaly recently moved to Beirut, Lebanon,
where she has opened her own showroom and
ateliers. She caters to many of her private clients,
offering them resolutely Couture collections with the
Caroline Seikaly spirit.
Caroline Seikaly est une créatrice d’origine américanolibanaise et française.
En 2006, elle crée la griffe qui porte son nom et dessine
des collections de prêt-à-porter à l’esprit couture, élégantes
et raffinées. Ayant grandie aux Etats-Unis, Caroline étudie
le stylisme à la Rhode Island School of Design et collabore
parallèlement avec Issac Mizrahi à New York.
Une fois diplômée, elle vient à Paris parfaire son savoir
faire Haute Couture en intégrant la maison Christian
Lacroix en 1997.
En 1999, elle rejoint l’équipe créative de Karl lagerfeld
et participe au développement de la maison Lagerfeld
Gallery.
En 2006, la jeune créatrice décide de poursuivre sa
passion et crée sa ligne éponyme qu’elle présentera
chaque saison tout d’abord pendant les fashion weeks de
prêt-à-porter New Yorkaises, puis depuis 2010 à Paris.
Le style de Caroline se reflète dans des matières raffinées
telles que la soie et la dentelle. Elle conçoit des robes à
la fois contemporaines et intemporelles, sophistiquées et
épurées.
Caroline Seikaly s’est depuis peu installée à Beyrouth au
Liban, où elle a ouvert son show-room et ses ateliers pour
proposer désormais à ses déjà nombreuses clientes des
collections résolument Couture où l’on retrouve tout l’esprit
Caroline Seikaly.
