When the year coming to an end and another new year approaching (starting March 21or 20),
Iranians are getting their tables ready with the seven articles that symbolize the triumph of good
over evil.
Haft Seen" is a traditional table decorated with at least seven or "Haft" symbolic objects, nutrients
or plants beginning with the Persian letter "s" or "Seen".
The Haft Seen items are:
1. Sabzeh - (Persian:
) - wheat, barley, lentil sprouts growing in a dish symbolizing rebirth(����������) ������ and the fertility of the land(���� ��������) in Spring.
2. Samanu - (Persian:
)- sweet pudding made from wheat ( ����)germ symbolizing affluence(��‫�ﺭ�����)�ﺭ‬
3. Senjed - (Persian:
