Storytime (16th Year)
To celebrate World Environment
Day, City of Whittlesea is launching
the Merri Creek ‘From Wasteland to
Parkland’ Exhibition which will then
be touring all of our City of Whittlesea
branches. The tour is starting at
Thomastown and Lalor Libraries and
will then be travelling to Mill Park and
Whittlesea branches throughout July.

campaign to encourage the enjoyment of
reading and promote the value of literacy
within Library and Information week. It is in
its 16th year.
Every year a picture book that is written
and illustrated by Australians is read
simultaneously in libraries, schools,
preschools, childcare centre, family homes
and bookshops around the country.
