A published history of Saint Margaret’s
faith community at Eltham comprises
three volumes. Dr Geoffrey Sandy has
recently published Volume 3 covering the
history from the end of WWII to 2015.
He will discuss his research including the
turbulent post-war period that witnessed
the transformation of the Church of
England at Eltham.
Join local historian Lindsay Mann as
he recounts the history of the Yan Yean
Cemetery outside Whittlesea Township.
Since its earliest burial in 1855, this
historic and rural cemetery still serves the
local community today.
