The Passat Alltrack takes all the qualities that make the Passat great and adds a layer of
ruggedness to make it the ideal companion for an adventure. Never shirking its European
quality and precision, this is a vehicle built in every way to take on Australian conditions.
Based on the MQB (Modular Transverse Matrix) platform, the Passat Alltrack combines
wagon comfort with SUV versatility to spirit its occupants down a country lane, outback
track or city highway.
With its contoured doors and 18” Kalamata Alloy wheels, the Passat Alltrack is every bit a
Volkswagen when seen from side on. But viewed from the front, the vehicle reveals a
striking new design architecture. Halogen headlights bracket a distinctive horizontal grille,
while fog lights with static cornering function are there to light the way when visibility is
compromised.

Body protection all around the vehicle further hints at its adventurous spirit. Underbody
protection helps avoid unwelcome scrapes to the vehicle’s underside. Aluminium-look
scuff plates at the front and rear assist with steep approach and departure angles, while
matte black protective trim, wheel arch extensions and lower body side mouldings add to
the Passat Alltrack’s bold look. The automatic opening and closing tailgate aids driver
convenience, while anodised silver roof rails are there when extra carrying capacity is
required.

Interior
The Passat Alltrack’s spacious interior mixes genuine comfort and functionality with plenty
of visual appeal.
Featuring luxurious Vienna leather appointed seat upholstery* and a supportive
Ergocomfort seat for the driver, the Passat Alltrack’s level of refinement will surprise anyone
sitting in it for the first time. The stylish leather multi-function steering wheel means an
abundance of controls are readily at hand. Other touchpoints, such as the curved gearstick
and infotainment system are a delight to use.

All around the cabin are hints that this is a Passat designed to take on the rough stuff.
Alltrack lettering on the door sill inlays and centre console lid are an elegant reminder of the
vehicle’s capabilities, while aluminium-finish foot pedals and appealing ‘Titanium’ and
‘Tracks’ trim on the dashboard and doors add a touch of exclusivity.
Driver-comfort aids abound, such as 14-way electric front seats with driver’s massage
function. The driver’s seat has a memory function which also remembers your door mirror
position, select reverse and the passenger side mirror even dips so you see the kerb.
Rain-sensing windscreen wipers and automatically dimming rear-view mirror and driver's
side mirror take away the glare of approaching high-beam lights.
Air Care 3-zone climate control air conditioning with air cleaning function and allergen filter
keeps the cabin air clean and the temperature exactly to your specification. With Keyless
Access and starting system technology, take the hassle out of opening and starting your
vehicle.
You’ll never be stuck for space when you load up the Passat Alltrack for your next escapade.
Outstanding 639-litre luggage capacity (1769 litres with the seats folded) means you won’t
need to skimp on luggage, while a 40/20/40 split/folding rear seat configuration enables a
variety of storage options. A partition net is a clever and practical way of separating cabin
from luggage area.

Offering all the practicality of a wagon, but with outstanding off-road
capability and rugged good looks to match, the Passat Alltrack is the ideal
vehicle for a family escape.

A potent, new 2.0-litre turbocharged TDI engine offers 140kW of power and
400Nm of torque, combined with Volkswagen’s tried and tested 6-speed
DSG transmission for assured power delivery. Even the most adverse road
surfaces won’t stop the Passat Alltrack, thanks to its sophisticated 4MOTION
all-wheel-drive technology featuring the latest-generation electronically
controlled multi-plate clutch.
Drivers can bolster the performance of their Passat Alltrack in tough
conditions by selecting ‘Off-road Mode’ from the Driving profile selection,
which allows you to adapt your vehicle to the prevailing conditions. Choosing
this mode activates Hill Descent Control*, adapts accelerator responsiveness
and adjusts gear switching points.
The Passat Alltrack’s off-road prowess is a given, but what makes it unique
is the level of assured sophistication it brings to the mix. Whether used for
work or for play, the Passat Alltrack combines class-leading refinement with

Few vehicles can claim to feature as extensive a range of intelligent technology as the Passat
Alltrack. Together, they make the Passat Alltrack a safer, more efficient and more responsive
vehicle to drive.

Clever technology helps with running costs, too. The new, more-powerful TDI engine in the
Passat Alltrack pairs with BlueMotion Technology, such as Start/Stop technology, Brake Energy
Recuperation and Coasting function, to take the Passat Alltrack further with every tank of fuel.
A suite of safety features in the Passat Alltrack make it one of the safest vehicles on the road.
Front Assist with City Emergency Brake* (City EB) uses a radar sensor integrated in the front of
the vehicle to monitor traffic ahead, while Rear Traffic Alert* is especially useful when reversing
out of a parking spot. Multi-collision brake is an invaluable tool that can help reduce the
likelihood of a further collision once one has already taken place.

A range of driver aids make any drive as pleasurable as it is safe. Driver Fatigue Detection*, for
example, monitors the driver’s input to warn them if they start to show signs of tiredness. Rear
View Camera* (RVC Plus) with multi-angle views, Lane Assist* lane departure warning system,
parking distance sensors front and rear and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)* are additional
standard inclusions.
Infotainment finds its zenith in the form of the latest-generation, high-resolution, 8” Discover
Pro Satellite Navigation system. It incorporates clever App-Connect^ technology, which allows
selected smartphone apps to be easily displayed and operated via the Passat Alltrack’s
infotainment touchscreen. Your phone connects via USB interface, placing a selected range of
apps on your Apple® or Android™ smartphone device immediately at your fingertips.
