"La Misa de la Alegría" is a spiritual trip through Spain, Africa and Latin America following the structure of the catholic mass,
and with a great musical variety.
Produced by Oscar Gomez (also productor of "Misa Campesina Nicaragüensa") and Rafa Almarcha (Siempre Así), including a
great rythmes diversity and musical colors. Like this, the classical "rumbas corales" from this sevillano group are mixed with
cuban's, central-american's and african's echos. They recordered it in Sevilla, Madrid, Dakar and Managua. In Managua they
collaborated with the myth: Carlos Mejia Godoy, very popular in the seventies for his musical group "Los de Palacaüina".
"La Misa de la Alegría" - tenth disc from this groups - is a valient plan, social and common, it will surprise a lot of people. As
its own name indicates, the joy is the dominant note in this piece, you can listen to it inside or outside the churches.

The word 'mantilla' is originally Spanish. Our mantillas come in Ivory or black. The 'mantilla' (veil) shows its big importance
during the Easter Fiests and during the bullfighting afternoons. Sometimes brides choose to wear the white 'mantilla' (veil)
instead of the tradicional veil and her bridesmaid wears a black one and a big comb, making this way a very Spanish and
typical costume. They are an elegant alternative for the classic wedding veil.
Use for social events and religious.
- Made up of one whole piece without seams.
- The composition is aproximately between 20% nylon and 80% rayon.
- The 'mantilla is confeccioned in 'floche' (intermediate lace, mix of 'chantilly' and blond lace).

The way of fixing a mantilla is very simple. The comb has to be well hold with plenty of hairpins. Then, the mantilla has to be
placed 'in pick' on the top of the head, so that the pick reaches the nose. Like this, it has to be hold to the comb with a
brooch, and then the pick has to be picked up to the high area of the head with hairpins through the inside of the comb.
Finally, the mantilla is hold to one of the shoulders with a pin. Normally, it is used to incline the head to the opposite side, so
that the mantilla does not knock over.
If you want to dye the original shawl colour, you must know that:
1º it is a complicated process and not always you obtain the expected result
2º the shawl is always shrank in the dyeing process
3º the base colour which admit the best the dyeing is ivory, white always stands out, so if you buy a shawl to dye it, we
advise you to buy the ivory one
4º no shawl includes cotton that's why the acceptance of the dye will never be 100% right
