SIMOF. International Flamenco Fashion Show

Each year, the Exhibition and Conference Center of Seville (FIBES)
holds the International Flamenco Fashion Show, SIMOF, an event
organized by FIBES and the Agency of General Services for Fashion and
Communication, Doble Erre. ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño carries
out the design, and the entire production and mounting of this show,
a worldwide reference in flamenco fashion, since its beginning in 1994.
In 2011, APD undertook a significant transformation of the entire
fairground dedicated to SIMOF that has lasted to this day. For the first
time that year, distribution was in the form of a central square with
a catering area at the center surrounded by the suppliers’ stands,
giving the exhibition area a homogeneous esthetic and using colors
that quickly identify it with flamenco fashion. Taking advantage of the
division between the exhibition area and the catwalk, the outstanding
feature of a large graphic was created around the parameter, visible
from any point in the exhibition area.
For the 2014 edition of SIMOF 2014, the company has renovated Pavilion
2 of the Conference Center with trend setting elements, transforming
the commercial area into a convivial business spot. In this 20th edition,
with the strong presence of new designers, APD has re-adapted the
catwalk, gaining both physical and visual space. Moreover, the unified
covering of all surfaces has heightened the chromatic beauty of the
catwalk, making it one of the three strongest in Spain.
