Media Guide 2013
In today’s marketing driven world, consumers are bombarded
with advertising messages, meaning sophisticated delivery has
become more important than ever before.
Traveltalk Media couples the strength of its tangible, well-versed
magazine with well-considered online mediums to cross promote
products and reach the industry from all angles.
This not only builds the Traveltalk brand, but also the brands of
its advertisers.
About Traveltalk Media
Proof of Success
Traveltalk Media comprises of Traveltalk Magazine, www.traveltalk.biz
and eTraveltalk newsletter.
Research confirms that over 78% of
Australia’s travel agents rely on trade
publications like Traveltalk.
Our mission is to produce relevant, interesting, entertaining news
and destination reports that travel agents look forward to reading.
The popular Trade issues are published in Feb, April, May, July,
Aug, Oct and Nov. Four ‘bumper’ issues each year (March,
June, September and December) are published in a ‘consumer
friendly’ format and are available for purchase in newsagencies
across Australia.
Traveltalk Media’s ability to provide
valuable mediums and return for our
clients is evident in the 90% repeat
advertising rate with both National
and State-based brands.

Content
The new-look www.traveltalk.biz provides industry
information via one user-friendly central portal –
enabling your business (and ours) to effectively
capture and communicate to customers.
Traveltalk’s compact A4 size and fresh magazinestyle format, written by an extensive network of
experienced nationally and internationally-based
journalists, cuts straight to the issues and delivers
relevant news coverage to every travel agency in
Australia each month.
Despite the boom of digital media, research tells
us that 67% of travel agents still want to be sent the
magazine rather than the digital Emag*. Magazines
offer many unique strengths - style, glamour,
tactile appeal and prestige are associated with the
medium and contribute strongly to advertisers’ brand
success.
