Technical Speaker Topic: Paving the way for oil well servicing technology
Tony has worked in the oil industry for over 37 years. Tony began as a mechanic and from
there continued up the ranks and became a Field Service Manager of Oilfield Cementing and
Fracturing. He then became a sales representative for some of the leading oil companies in
California. Since 1978, Tony has completed many hours of training in oilfield safety, oilfield
services, management, and operations. Tony accepted a job with Key Energy Services in
January 2013 as the Key View Maintenance Manager where he is currently employed. Tony
specializes in Technology that is geared to improving rig safety and bringing overall
Tony Givens
transparency to the field of Oil Rig Servicing.
Throughout the years, Tony has been very instrumental in raising money and volunteering his time for local charities
such as Ronald McDonald House, The Boy Scouts of America, and the Homeless Center in Bakersfield. Over the years
you could find him barbequing for The Homeless Center of Bakersfield and other times you could find him
volunteering his time at the Ronald McDonald House pulling weeds and trimming bushes. Tony is a father of 3 and a
grandfather to 8. As a father and grandfather, he will say that is where he gained a lot of insight into what is really
important in life. He strives to lead by example not only for his children and grandchildren but also for those who
work with him. Tony always has an eye for safety and Key View gives him the ability to bring together tools that can
help field operations not only improve safety, but to work safely as well.
