4 DECADES OF REAL ESTATE EXCELLENCE
By: Jesse Ziter
Marco D’Antonio, celebrating 24 years at Remo Valente Real Estate, has
spent over half of his 48 years on this earth in the real estate business.
While he knows more than most about the way the market has risen and
fallen over the past few decades, Windsor-Essex residents will be heartened
to know that he is only looking forward.
Although D’Antonio consistently ranks as one of Valente’s
top 10 producers, he’s never wavered from his original
commitment to making every buyer and seller his top
personal priority. After all, being responsible for buying or
selling a homeowner’s most prized possession involves
a significant amount of trust. For D’Antonio, a hands-on
realtor, this means establishing personal relationships
built on openness and security. “Buying and selling a
home can be a very emotional process,” says D’Antonio,
whose clients are invited to talk to him directly at any

time. “It can be easy to throw logic and caution out the
window. I try to place my clients’ best interests above all else.”
D’Antonio, who still plays soccer three times a week and
squeezes in the odd round of golf, has always maintained
an active presence in the Windsor-Essex community. “I
meet most of my clients outside of a professional setting,”
he shares. “I like to get out there and meet new people
regardless of whether or not business will come from it.”

D’Antonio’s acquaintances are consistently impressed by
his start-to-finish involvement in the real estate process.
“I don’t just put a sign on the front lawn and wait,” he
promises. “I teach my clients to stage their home in a
way that shows it in the best, most sellable light. I market
each property extensively while closely monitoring
market activity to prevent the listing from going stale.”
This personal dedication has always been backed by
Remo Valente Real Estate. “I’ve always thought of the
relationship with my broker as a marriage,” reflects
Marco, who committed to Valente at the tender age of
23. “You have to work through the ups and downs, but
the reward is a strong foundation that allows for a long
and prosperous real estate career.”

He also counts on the support of fellow agents
everywhere. “It’s important for me to have a positive
rapport with my coworkers and competitors, many
of whom are now my friends,” he relates. “Buyers and
sellers benefits when realtors from separate companies
maintain good working relationships.”
If you’re thinking about buying or selling a home, choosing
the right realtor is important. “I really feel blessed
and thankful,” says D’Antonio. “That this profession
has allowed me to be involved in some families’ most
important life decisions.” Consider Marco D’Antonio. For
over 24 years, Windsor-Essex homeowners have been
glad they did.
