FAIRS AND CONFERENCES IN IBIZA
The Exhibition Centre is the ideal
venue for numerous events that are
held throughout the year. It is
situated less than ten minutesí drive
from the airport with direct access
via main roads and only 500m from
the urban zone of Ibiza town.
It was specially designed to hold over
1600 persons and serve as the ideal
venue to hold all kinds of meetings,
trade fairs, conferences, exhibitions
and other examples of socioeconomic and cultural festivals, as
well as concerts and parties.
The Exhibition Centre consists of a
well-lit 3400 m2 building and a 1750
m2 marquee. It is equipped with the
very latest light and sound facilities
as well as a modular stage and a
conference room with the capacity
to hold up to 150 persons.
Stage:
As a complement to these spaces,
the Exhibition Centre has a modular
stage measuring 280 m2 based on 2
x 1m platforms with an aluminium
frame and panels made of waterproof
marine board. It can be erected to
a maximum height of 2m.
The Exhibition Centre FECOEF also
boasts a magnificent lighting system
(60.000 Watts) and sound system
(10.000 Watts), adjustable and/or
extensible according to the technical
requirements of each event. In
addition, it offers an ADSL WIFI
system with coverage throughout the
entire Exhibition Centre.

Ibiza auditorium-conference
centre represents the island in its
entirety. The hall forms its own
exhibition centre-as is clear at first
sight. The cultural centre, which is
divided into multiple spaces, leads
off from this. This new interior and
exterior landscape aims to be both
reflect the islandís climate and pay
homage to the courtyards of the
houses and churches which so
characterize its architecture.
The building creates a place of its
own amid the landscape. Itís a place
which confers on it a unique character
and enables the establishment of
visual filters with the closest builtup environment.
The centre is divided in two in order
to take advantage of the morphology
of the plot: the rectangular and
Cartesian space is occupied in its
totality by the Conferences Centre
and the Auditorium in order to locate
the Cultural Centre more freely in its
situation among the trees and curves
of the different levels.
THE CULTURAL CENTRE
FIRST PHASE-FINISHED
The exhibition space is used to as a
distribution point towards the set of
rooms. The retracted volume of the
building answers the numbering of
the set of meeting spaces and the
systemization of a method to trap
exterior light: two spaces house the
multi-use rooms in their interior and
a third one contains the double height
assembly hall with a capacity of 437
seats. The restaurant is sited on the
access floor, a large space connected
with the Conferences Centre which
can be divided into three dining
rooms.
Designed with different uses in mind,
the group of rooms is intended to be
a transformable and versatile space
compatible with cultural use and with
the different lecture rooms so
necessary for a conference event.

Ibiza’s airport is situated in the southern part of the island. It is served by a number of airline companies
which operate direct flights from mainland Spain and Europe.
It also possesses three important ports: the port of Ibiza, the port of Santa Eulària and the port of Sant
Antoni.
The ships of the regular passenger lines (Balearia, Iscomar and Acciona) which connect the island with
