Krimson Klover opened 130 new accounts this year that gave their sales a 50% boost 2014-15
– topping the 40% growth from the previous year 2013-14. The 2016 collection will support this
continued growth, offering more looks to an extended demographic. While remaining true to its
core audience, the expanded product line will appeal to active, young professionals as well as
their fashionable mentors.
Krimson Klover offers stylish apparel for work, travel, fun and winter sports. Garments are

All of Krimson Klover’s socks are knit with Merino wool and a touch of Nylon and Spandex for fit
and functionality. New patterns include original illustrations and rich color palettes abound.
Beyond business, Kirimson Klover’s founder Rhonda Swenson gives back to her communities
including volunteer work at the local Eagle County Habitat for Humanity in Vail, Colorado, and
collaborating with the nonprofit First Descents, which supports young adult cancer patients and
survivors through outdoor experiences. She cofounded the Luna Women’s MTB Ambassadors
team and serves on the board of the Ski Industry Association (SIA). Not to mention, she’s a
retired competitive cyclist. As a result, her designs for Krimson Klover reflect that easygoing,
adventurous outlook. “Our clothes look great and make you feel one of a kind, with little worry
about what you’re wearing. Which leaves more time for hiking, skiing, and traveling,” Swenson
says. “People need to get out and live life.”
This year’s fall collection reflects a renewed commitment to outdoor and winter-sports apparel,
including hand-painted base layers, flattering sweater dresses, novelty sweaters, scarves, and
graphic signature socks—all made from luxury natural fabrics such as cashmere and ultrafine

known for high-quality women’s apparel, continues to expand its brand presence and
sees increased sales growth nationwide. Female-owned and operated, Krimson Klover
merges a passion for luxury knitwear with a commitment to social and environmental
responsibility.
Krimson Klover distributes throughout the U.S. and
Canada via specialty retailers and fine catalogs. The
company opened 130 new accounts (to 900 total
nationwide) while remaining obsessive about
craftsmanship, quality, and self-expression.

After nearly three decades in the sweater business (and several previous brands,
including Chompas, Eir Sports, and Nevé), Swenson launched Krimson Klover in 2010.
The venture combines her lifelong love affair with knitting and textiles with a Texas-born
risk-taking spirit. Originally from Austin, Swenson is a passionate traveler and outdoor
athlete, who says she inherited her wanderlust from her mother and her ability to
embrace life in the moment from her father. Her designs for Krimson Klover reflect that
easy-going, adventurous outlook. “Our clothes look great and make you feel one of a

portion of proceeds to First Descents; a truly
inspiring and progressive organization working
with those living with cancer.
This winter season, Krimson Klover will donate
5% of the proceeds from its beautiful new Sleigh
Ride sweater to First Descents for its work with
young active cancer patients. Those who buy one
of these gorgeous sweaters not only get the
perfect gift, but also help make the holidays
special for someone else.
“The program that First Descents offers is a lifechanging experience for their very deserving
participants. What they do is simply amazing,”

First Descents offers young adult cancer fighters
and survivors a free outdoor adventure
experience, empowering them to climb, paddle
and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their
cancer, reclaim their lives and connect with
others doing the same. Founded in 2001 by pro- kayaker, Brad Ludden, whose life was
impacted by his own aunt’s battle with cancer in her thirties, First Descents began by offering
young cancer patients kayak trips. The trips enabled participants to start “living beyond their
disease”, giving them hope, self-confidence and meaning while mitigating depression and
anxiety. First Descents now offers mountaineering, surfing, rock climbing and kayak programs in
11 states and 4 countries, and serves over 1000, 18-39 year-olds every year.
