A tinner since 1988, owner Joe Merle hammers a
thick piece of folded tin to give it strength and a
natural curve.
Throughout the late 1700’s and early 1800’s, only the
homes of the very wealthy had the luxury of lamps, sconces
and chandeliers. Candles were expensive and the average
household had only one or two on hand at any time. Most
families went to bed at nightfall and awoke each day with
the sun. Interior lighting was used mostly in public gathering places such as halls, inns and taverns.
Our lighting reproductions follow the traditional patterns
and design elements used during these early times and will
provide your home with a feeling of heritage: the ambience
and warm glow experienced by these early Americans.

Rarely does our lighting become damaged in transit,
but accidents do happen. If you receive a damaged
